some tips: make teleport changes scale be false so you don't glitch out when going through portals, it's a bit confusing but basically what it does is if you go into a small scaled box view you'll still be the same size relative to it, it's like the size changing portals. also use /portal debug align to align yourself with the block you're on!

It's working guys, I found this in my recommended.

I had this idea the other day for an immersive portals building challenge, where you have a space of like 10x10, or 20x20, and you gotta build the biggest apparent puzzle/maze, so using portals efficiently and seamlessly to make it seem like there's more corridors, and spaces, and walkways etc. but it's actually a small compact area, and see who performs the best and tricks the illusion of space the best.

Holy shit I stumbled on this video but that moment you realized you were trapped inside a house inside a house was viscerally terrifying

Something related but also unrelated - Might I suggest checking out "Recursed"? It's a bit of an old puzzle platformer game about chests in chests in chests in *_no_* Basically, it's about rooms connected to each other via chests. It starts off pretty simple, but _hoo boi_ it starts to really screw with your head after a bit, and with some later mechanics, maybe even a little... Paradoxical.

i've always wanted to see someone use this mechanic to make something like a terrarium. it's always models and recursion and stuff, but you could slice a small village out of the world and just keep in on your desk and just watch the miniature villagers farm and stuff.

OH ALSO!, the proper way to get into your box views: your supposed to have a doorway/hole or what ever and the shape you pick, you make a 2 way facing portal, 1 inside the door way and the seccond inside the small structure so you can go in and out, i hope that didnt sound to complicated

gasp csx i have an idea, put the trains into non euclidean minecraft and make mini train tracks that would be wonderful

Tip: You don't freak out when stepping in the portal-box while being smaller than the box. You only freak out when you're bigger than the portal itself, that's basically the same that happens when you make a portal 1×1, destroy the frame and then walk into the portal while being normal size (1×2)
