Hello. Thanks for your good teaching in trike maintenance. And I love that the patchwork kit for a flat tires has been just the same with the same colors even since I was a little kid decades ago here in Norway, I think they have had world monopoly for ever. Thanks for your review. Best Regards Arne G from Norway

I have read that certain chain lubes will deteriorate the chain tubes on ICE trikes. Is this common on other trikes and do you have a recommendation for a chain lube that will not cause the chain tubes to deteriorate?

Can you tell me about the stand that you are using for the trike? I would like to get something like that so I can get it off of the ground to work on it.

Good video, but you should also check the tire to see that nothing is protruding on the inside!

Good tip. I like to bring a rag with me in my saddle bag so I can run it on the inside of the tire to make sure there's no thorns still in there. I use a rag rather than my finger in case its a piece of glass.

On a trail how do you change a flat on the large tire?

The back tire is usually a quick release like a regular bike, and the front wheels are easy to change. Just tip the trike on it side and remove the tire and tube. You don't have to take off the wheel since there's not outside fork.

How do you increase the resistance on the handle bars -how to make them harder to turn from left to right and right to left . They are too easy to turn - I overreact whin hitting a bump or making turns . Thanks

A steering damper will address those kinds of issues. But you firstly need to confirm that your front end is adjusted and aligned correctly, and that your tires are in good condition and at the correct tire pressure. My trike came with a steering damper standard, but I don't know about other brands. There are two different steering systems in use, direct and indirect, and that will also effect how best to resolve it.

Most indirect steering used a screw to dampen, and direct will use a top cap or such on the handle bars to create downward pressure to make the steering tighter.

I ready replace my rear with the Tannus insert. I have using the slime inner tubes and Tuffy leather liners. I have been lucky with no flats on the rear. No for the fronts that’s a different story with my tipped under bridge for shade relief. Good videos thanks.
