    She played them all with that stereotype though. If she had just asked to wear an expensive diamond tiara they might have said no. However, people love to correct or prove someone wrong, so while they all think they taught her something she got the results she wanted. There’s also the added bonus that now they will subconsciously have a positive association her with wearing diamonds.

  • @laurenmichelle49

    @laurenmichelle49

    Жыл бұрын

    @@ispeakfacts That's where you're wrong. It isn't just about the makeup and hair, it's the way she so has absolutely mastered Marilyn's facial expressions and her mannerisms, that's something makeup can't do. Also, she wears makeup because Marilyn wore makeup. She could easily dye and cut her hair like Marilyn's but why would she when she could just get a realistic wig. Marilyn wasn't even a natural blonde, she was actually a brunette before she became famous. I have NEVER seen anyone look just like Marilyn amd have natural platinum blonde hair. Any actress they have chosen to play her has had to be put in makeup and a wig, as well but i haven't seen anyone play Marilyn so accurately until I saw her. How do you expect someone to naturally look like Marilyn Monroe when Marilyn is in a full face of makeup, herself? Looking like Marilyn is only half of it. The other half, which is what makes Jessica different is that she has studied Marilyn and perfected the way Marilyn speaks and her facial expressions when she speaks. Anyone that plays her will need makeup and they'll most likely need a wig or to dye and style their hair like hers.

Best scene when on steps of courthouse explaining to about- to -be ex (actor A.Kennedy) husband, why she couldn't go on in the marriage. Marilyn was a fragile angel in a cruel business. A #10. Superstar. She was very brave filming River of No Return. Thank you for bringing her back, if only for a moment.

    @@RushiaRenoku her being sexualized wasn't a difficulty that made her become Marilyn. That came after she became Marilyn in a world full of perverted men who wanted her body. That is also not a difficulty but an unfortunate environment there's a difference in it.

    @Miko-chan~! That’s a selfish way to think of it, if I am understanding you correctly. It seems you are saying that she suffered for our entertainment or enjoyment? As in, “the suffering made her who we love today”? If so, I would rather we didn’t know her and she was treated well. But you may just be making an observation of fact, that the person we know now is due to the suffering, not that she “deserved” it in a way for our entertainment? If that’s the case, I understand what you mean.

  • @miko-chan3443

    @miko-chan3443

    Жыл бұрын

    @@hailbones6666 it seems you have misunderstood. I mean she had her family problems and such and without them she would've not become Marilyn instead just a happy lady across the street. Her suffering built her character to become Marilyn where she abandoned her name Norma to become Marilyn to start a new story with a different ending. If she didn't have those difficulties that she faced ever since she was a child she'd become your local grandma down the street who loves to tell children stories about her first love and such. But NO, it's like Oprah if she weren't fired from her job she wouldn't have become the Oprah we know now because then she wouldn't have existed like that but instead your everyday grandma in the neighborhood. Plus if you had rather we didn't know her and she was well trust me you would be complaining how there's always nothing good mainly because there were no good stars since the best ones mainly came from an unfortunate background.
