Beautiful testimony ❤ I just want to include that theres many ways to recover, and 12 steps truly isnt one size fits all. I utilize a mix of programs, and a big favorite of mine is SMART recovery. Research and dont get discouraged if one program isnt a good fit. Very inspiring recovery story, thank u for sharing

What a great comment! I’ve only heard about the 12 Steps, and nothing more. A list of them all would be so great and then perhaps the Texas Pictures could pin it somewhere! I’ll try to link their name here. Thank you sooo much again for your awesome comment!!

Megan, what a warrior you are!! I am so beyond proud of how strong and open you are! What a story to sing loud and proud to be a navigator for those still struggling to get out of rough waters. You are a true lifeguard. Keep going one day at a time and don’t stop spreading your message of hope and miracles! For those of us who did not have mother, we can be mothers to our own precious children or mothers to others who did not have mothers either. You are a strong and determined woman and I wish you the best today and every day! 🙏🏻🩷

I am proud of you I'm in recovery myself I've been clean since september of 2016 I have a son now I have a fiance I have a job I've had my own place for the very first time in my life yes we struggle day-to-day to pay bills but I can manage it better now because I'm clean just keep doing you. The best thing mentally for me was to get a job and to have a routine I take my son to school every morning I go to work I get off of work I go pick up my son I go home make dinner and just be a dad

I want to first and foremost say I watch every single video this channel puts out and everyone of them speaks to my soul in some type of way. With that being said I’m barely 2mins in and this woman is touching my soul. I don’t know if it’s because our clean dates are within a year one another (mine is 5/18/2016) or it’s the the first time I’ve actually seen a woman who speaks about how N.A. saved her in some capacity, or if it’s just another mother who has been through the pits of hell and made it out. Our drug of choice may have been different but until you e truly been at the bottom and really surrendered and done everything completely different you’ll never really understand. This one hit different. I’m going to go ahead and finish this but I know good and well I’ll be back to hit my comment with a little P.S.❤ Thank you for sharing your story. We are so similar it’s wild. Any mother who can say “I chose drugs over my kids” and owned it then worked through it and came out on the other side is a true angel. If you’ve never been there and never been touched by addiction please just be so grateful and don’t speak on it. Educate yourself first. You’re incredible lady. NA and AA genuinely saved my life. Proud of you friend. Just keep doing the next right thing, even when you don’t want to. It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it ❤
