For people that, like me, can't delete in use files by zoom, by any means...I Stopped the recording, but didn't finish the meeting. Next, I overwrite the files with the corrupted ones. I finished the meeting and zoom warned me "If you convert these files, the world ill fall apart and a bunch of kangaroos will rape you" I took the risk, and pressed OK. Minutes later, I have my fles converted! A little different process, but I must be grateful with you. I couldn't find a solution anywhere...Thank you very much!!!

worked for me in that order 1) start new meeting 2) start recording 3) stop recording 4) replace files 5) stop meeting 6) convert files

Unfortunately, did not work for me. Seems the original file was corrupt so it does nothing but flash up and then stop. Thanks for posting though I hope it helped other people

my zoom meeting disconnected during a recording, is there a way to recover it? (or how do i get that window up where i can see the corrupted recordings?)

@@Deguiko in zoom it says there is no recorded meeting because the video call froze and then disconnected so i didn't have a chance to stop the recording in order for it to save

In the settings, have you chosen a folder for the recording to be saved, or is it set to ask for a folder every time at the end? Maybe the files are still in the chosen folder, even though zoom is not showing them.

@@Deguiko okay so i now see that the meeting, which was a cloud meeting, is listed under recordings but it says processing recording. so im assuming i just have to wait for it to finish and then i can have access to it?

If you have the .zoom files, just sign in and follow the video. If you don't have those files, I can't help you.

How do you delete a file that is open on zoom meetings 😐

I heard of some people that got it to work by swapping the files after ending the recording but before ending the meeting. Your OS might be preventing you from deleting a file that is in use. Here I just pressed "delete" and it worked. You could still try to use the command line to force it to delete the file if the above suggestion doesn't work.
