Recovering Jackknifed Semi-Trucks in an F-550 Black Edition

Bundle up! We head out into the elements today to recover stranded motorists during the worst snow storm Denver has seen in over 3 years. On our way into the mountains, we encountered a jackknifed semi-truck on the highway completely blocking both lanes.
Check out how flawlessly our 2023 F-550 Black Edition pulls this fully-loaded semi out, while that truck stays in neutral, and our Black Edition recovers the truck completely unassisted on a snowy, ice-covered road.
We stop to help a few more drivers stuck in the snow before packing up and heading back to the shop. Mission complete!

Awesome trucks! Great work! Be safe out there pulling people out. God Bless you for that. Otherwise those folks will be out there for hours. When storms like that happen (once every hundred years or so) the Emergency Response System is so overwhelmed that even the best prepared Emergency Response Management Plans find the weaknesses unmanageable in a realistic timeframe. You just can’t account for everything.

I know 550 /5500 don’t make short boxes , but would be cool to see a short box one. Turning radius would be crazy and make an awesome tow vehicle.

i know it snowed a lot here in Denver but honestly i didn't think it was all bad. It was wet mushy snow but other than that i had no issues getting around

We have an F-350 Black Edition package for 2023+ F-350s, and we also build on the F-550 and RAM 5500 platforms. New vehicles; we can order from our dealer network or you can bring your new 350/550/5500 to us to build.

Exactly. A toy. Beautiful vehicle. But my 13k lb 99 2wd 7.3 TDI PSD 6 spd can pull the same truck out of the same situation. Just saying. These jokers think they're truck are huge. Great to help out, I commend u for that. But leave the "recovery" or "tug" if u will to the people who've paid the 500k plus for their heavy recovery rigs that actually have a clue as to what they're doing.... As a repair shop and someone who has recovered heavy trucks for a living. IMO, this is just trying to get views for some lame brain on you tube cause he's got a flashy rig..

What gears and lockers are you running in these trucks? Any upgrades for the brakes?

4.3 gears, LSD - no locking diffs. OEM brakes; the F-550 platform has much larger upgraded brakes already.
What wheels are those?
Need a better recovery rope.

Kinetic ropes are great. Simple tow strap was enough for this
