This is one of my favorite stories youve ever done Mark. I got my 7th year clean last July and hearing this mans story I heard so many parallels to my own life, up until the schizophrenia part. I dont know enough about that subject. But the things he said, im going to remember.

@SaltySassy hell yeah! Seriously congrats to your son! My mom was a huge part of my recovery! When it started she wouldn't let me in her house. My rock bottom was my mom, knowing I'd be sleeping outside, dropping me off at a park for the night, only to come pick me up in the morning to go to the clinic, i apologize to her all the time for putting her through that, because i know she stayed up all night worrying, but i needed it. Now 7, years, later I went back to school, got a degree, a job in the field, a car, and she was there every step of the way! She drove me every morning back at the beginning. With mom's like you and her, we WILL succeed and achieve sobriety😁 take care, and God bless you and your son!!

He is cool and interesting and smart. If he read the comments, I'd want to tell him that working a job 9 to 5 is an excellent window to meet interesting and different and healthy mindset people AND to get connections, opportunities and maybe even gain real friends, because when you change the environment and find another niche, then the whole new horizons open up. I'd suggest to at least try a job 9 to 5 for 3 months, decide to give your best and give 100% and see what happens. That would be a great test and most probably a success to climb the ladder of self employment eventually. Good luck and all the best man! 😊

Hey brother, for your ear, you just described going deaf. You hear all of that because it's and auditory hallucination. Sounds bad, but it's semi typical, happens with roughly 16% of adults with hearing damage. Your brain has spent 20 plus years processing sound input from that ear. Now that it's gone/ greatly reduced, your brain fills in the space, similar to ghost pain in an amputated limb.

My dad is deaf in one ear, he hears noise like static, people talking(but kind of in murmurs and cant make out actual words) random certain pitches(high and low), amd hears music, he hears old timey jazz. Get some hearing aids my man, if u can afford. Sadly, the healthcare system is fucked and doesnt cover hearing aids

@Seven-Seven-77 hey brother, sorry to hear that you've got hearing damage, my ears are getting worse too. It's scary. Its kinda messed up, people dont really care about hearing loss. Doctors dont know much unless they're an ENT. It's a disability like anything else, but it doesn't really get recognized. People just treat it like it's a natural thing. It's a very sad and isolating disability. My dad is often left out of conversations because he can't keep up with what people are saying. I hope you can get some good hearing aids man. Much love your way.

You remind me of my brother, Kyle. He’s just over 5 years sober. Stay up, Billy. Your soul knows you deserve to thrive, and will find its purpose. You’re meant for incredible things, and have the compassion and empathy to genuinely help people. Furthermore, you are not crazy, most people simply don’t dig that deep because they may not want the answers, or worse, never begin to ask the questions. They’re in a weird place too, but at least we KNOW how weird it is without normalizing the weirdness. Much love, other brother from another mother… I know you will find your tribe. We out here. ❤ (Edited to add) Dave Chapelle once said something that really stuck with me in those moments of feeling out of place. Basically, he said that to call someone crazy is dismissive. Just because you don’t understand doesn’t make anyone else crazy. I paraphrase.

Just bcuz some ppl may think or act differently theres no reason for labels or wrong diagnosis....bcuz ive been wrongly diagnosed my whole life...on probably every single med out there..and alot of the meds destroyed me not only mentally but physically....so no meds im not crazy but its interesting that I have aspergers since i was born my parents never told me....and now i have a 3 year old nephew i just met for the first time and he's literally a genius but also has aspergers same with my dad who went on to be an engineer for his life career...if I would've known n not been "shamed" by society my family at times dr ect...i really think i could've done something big in life...i used to resent my parents for letting me go thru life like this but im older now n forgave them...keep being you!! Theres nothing wrong with that..in fact just by listening to you speak i think u would be awesome at being some kind of advocate or counselor to ppl like us...youll find ur way it doest happen overnight but stay on that right path....just like u had said its never to late!! Im 42 yrs old myself just realizing alot about myself n have similar feelings about it "being to late" nope! Never!!! Those are our demons in our heads talking

Over 3 years clean from 12 years of this shit. I recall my first 6 months of getting sober as a painful but spiritual awakening. Your coping skills have to be on point bc the drugs are not there to comfort you. You start reflecting on your regrets and wonder “who am I?” I would drive around town to my old spots feigning but never picked up. You have to hold on long enough and realize every day it gets easier. I had more trouble with ppl trusting me and assuming I was still in drugs. That shit don’t matter as long as you are clean and willing to accept change. Good job bro keep going. There is a beautiful life waiting for you if you want it. ❤

I agree with everything you said and have been learning a little about frequency. My husband and I have had experiences with sound frequency so I understand exactly what you were conveying. It's too much for me to type out to explain here, but we have absolutely had a few experiences with it as well. I would say that you are at a higher level of understanding "truth" than most folks. I’ve been clean going on a year now and I detoxed very hard by mistake. You're very interesting! I love people like you who talk about things random people don't know anything about. God job with getting clean of Fentanyl, that's extremely impressive! As I've always said, I don't understand why people have so much respect for lawyers, doctors and people with degrees. Almost everyone can get a degree. What you've done however by getting yourself off Fentanyl, and last but not still staying off it - that makes you a person I respect very much. I know you didn't ask for any advice but I just have to say something. I'm all about loving the people we love. But you deserve to be looked after when you disappear. I know addiction change people. However some care and others don't. It's very admirable that you show your girlfriend unconditional love. But in my opinion there's nothing wrong with setting boundaries and ask for something out of people. If not, you're just being taken advantage of. In love there have to be a balance in my opinion. It's not right if one person gives and gives and shows love and the other one just takes and gives nothing back. Or doesn't even care. That's not love in my book. You want people to fight for you, care for you, love you for real. At least I do. When it came to what you're hearing in that one ear a lot of that sounds like what I hear. The radio station noise with bad reseption. The other sound, too, the one you made, I hear something similar. I'm quite sure that's tinnitus! The best of luck to you! If you want to stay clean, you'll make it. I'm quite sure you're determined enough to do that against all odds. Lots of positive vibes and love from Norway ❤️

Humble yourself enough to start where you can get in per your areas of interest. Humility is a cornerstone of remaining sober. If you do that, you can climb into achievements you'll be happy you earned and you'll be less likely to sabotage them.

Very interesting ideas about frequency and communications. I think you're on to something Billy.

Billy is absolutely correct about our bodies being antennas. Frequency interference is a technology that's been around for a very long time now.

I was on the patches for 9 months and I made my Dr take me off I lost 100 lbs in 6 months. I had 37 side effects and it never felt good taking it, I cried and was sick could not take care of my kids thank God for my husband. I have been on every pain medication there is and never had any side effects until this nasty drug. It should be taken off the market its not for pain other than cancer.
