I watch your youtube video on "Gmail Account-Lost Access to All Devices". I am totally frustrated as in my situation I follow your steps BUT it does not give me the same options as you got and it's just one big circle...Ouch! Had this account for 15 years and I am sick over this. I did get a new iPhone (12 to a 13) and did the clouds backup from 12 to 13. Not sure if that is part of it. Every account recovery can be different. Google does this to mitigate the ability of hackers to automate the account recovery process. Please tell us how you lost access to the account. Do you have any backup account recovery methods tied to the account?

Verify this is true...and if it is then you just have to start the recovery process again. I think it is Google's attempt to make sure scammers don't hijack accounts. Even though you don’t know the number guess at the six digit code. You have to put it in repeatedly until they recovery processes too many failed attempts. After that wait one to three days before trying again.

Seems like the "2nd Attempt Account Recovery" page @5:28 has been removed by Google. Any updated methods in 2023? Thanks for the good faith attempt though.

Seems like 5:28 second attempt is still there. Through many account recovery attempts these are some of the most useful things: use same wifi/internet provider, previously authenticated device, try until too many failed attempts (wait at least one week...try again). The more/different information you provide will increase the chance of recovery...forgot pw (use old password), forgot email address...etc. Use a browser for recovery, because after repeated attempts (maybe weeks), Google will pop up and ask questions about your recovery attempt. Answer all the questions. My experience is that when you start getting the squirrely characters you may be getting close to recovering the account. Keep us updated on any of your efforts to help others. Thanks for commenting & subscribing.

Try until it says too many failed attempts, then vary the waiting period 1,2,3 week in between. It is important to answer every Google query, even if you have to guess at the answer. For example it send a code to your phone #, guess at the answer even though it is not correct This confirms to Google that a human is trying to recovery the account. It is best to use the same wifi/internet provider/device that was used before the account was lost.

Please review the video description and the pinned comment for useful information on how to recover the account. The account recovery process is the only way to recover it with information you know. You have to try that process until it says too many failed attempts. Have you done that?

Do you remember the account password? Normally if you cannot authenticate directly to the PC using account recovery will eventually send a prompt to the phone.

When you add a "Recovery Email Address" it is listed under "The Ways we can verify it's you" and is not really part of 2FA. From Google, "Your recovery email is used to reach you in case we detect unusual activity in your account or you accidentally get locked out." Are you sure you activated 2FA? If so, your 2FA options include: Security Key, Google Prompts, Auth App, Voice/Txt Msg, & backup codes. Do you have access to any of these 2FA recovery methods? Any of these can be used to get account access.

The fact that when i clicked on the back up method recover account it took me to the beginning again.

I really appreciate your video. I tried but I didn’t get the phone number option. Google asks me to provide another email which they can reach me. Unfortunately, I need to wait 48 hrs. I am afraid that they will ask me to verify by the old phone number again. I really can’t receive messages from that one. I do need my google account. Do you have any suggestions for this? Btw, in your video, did you put another number to recover the account or a new phone number? Thank you.

It's a good sign that they ask for an email to reach you. It is extremely important that you be patient to this process because it's not an easy or quick effort to recover access to an email account. It did allow me to put in a different number that was not tied to the account. But this process took place over multiple days and was not just a quick fix. It's also recommended that you use the same physical location, same Wi-Fi network, same device, same browser, Etc

During recovery, does it really help if i use wifi or mobile data and the location where i have accessed this hijacked account before? Im trying to do recovery while abroad, and it still does remember my old pass and lets me proceed to recovery phone number however the number sure is not mine. Im using different sim card rn and isp as im not in my home country, and that's the only thing left for me to do on my next recovery. So pls answer. thank you

It would help if you told us how you lost access to the account. Question: does it really help if i use wifi or mobile data and the location where i have accessed this hijacked account before? Answer: The more similarities for the recovery the greater chance of success, i.e., same wifi network, same ISP, same computing device, same physical location, same web browser, same computer resolution etc. Why: Google does a forensic analysis of each device login and compares that forensic snapshot to the recovery device.

@@CyberMedics one gmail was logged in on 2 devices, i lost one of the devices. i did factory reset on remaining device, and changed pin those accounts i think was important. i completely forgot about this hacked gmail until one day i got kicked out from one of the apps i used to share on both devices. This happened last month, and thats one year after i lost the phone. Of course the new user also changed the credentials on that phone he/she found unattended. I tried phone recovery but it always ends up in mobile number verification, and subsequently lock out. Im losing hope because 1year is so much time lost, and google might have already forgotten me too.

@@mertootrem3506 sorry you're having so much trouble. Unfortunately lots of people are linking their cell phone numbers to the accounts losing the phones and then losing access to their accounts. That's why we don't recommend linking a cell phone to the account. Better to use a security key, authentication app a Google Voice number, or a Google prompt on a another signed in device, and always generate backup codes for the account along with have a recovery email address linked to the account. I know that doesn't help you right now but these are things you should look at in the future. Please let us know if we can be of any help.

When l try to open a twitter account using my email address it says that my email address is incorrect when it isn't. I let someone use my pc to fill out an application using my E address it put them as owner of my address. Another used it to open a face book acct. same result.

@@kevo-ott You have to "engage" with Google at every step. What does that mean? It sends you a code, but you don't have access to the phone where the code was sent. You have to make up a code and put it in. It will be wrong...it's ok. Part of the recovery process is to convince Google you are a human. To do that you have to answer every prompt Google presents in the correct format. The answer does not have to be correct. You have to change your process. What does that mean? If you know the password, but are unsuccessful then choose forgot password, or choose forgot email account....Find a way to get Google to present you a different question, even if you don't know the answer. Reference comment above. You should use a computer browser to recover the account. If it is on a previously authenticated account then use Chrome. If it is not a previously authenticated account, then use FireFox.

My friend did a factory reset his phone. Now trying to login but don't remember the password. There are no other devices logged in so that link could be accepted to change password. Now after confirming codes to the registered phone number, google asked to give a email id so that they can confirm its the same user trying to login.. It says to wait for 48 hours... Will it be done? Thank you🙏

Be careful of the scammers here. A hacked account is extremely difficult to recover. We have never recovered a hacked account, if the hacker has already changed all the account information. Please immediately delete this account from any other linked accounts (especially financial). Please don't give anyone money to recover the account. Sorry this happen, but this video can prevent it from happening again.

Highly unlikely you'll recover the account if someone has hacked it. All you can do is try account recovery with the information that was previously on the account. Please do not respond to any of the scammers that are promising you they can get the account back because it's just a bunch of Lies. Go ahead and enter your present phone # even though it is wrong. The more & different ways you interact with Google increases your chances of recovering the account. How did you lose access to the account?

@@CyberMedics so I tried that method by entering my current phone number, even though it’s attached my old phone number, they know that no longer exists, and I locked myself out of trying to access the account because I have failed to many attempts. I made a KZread creator channel back in 2012 and stopped going on it years later. I forgot the password and tried to recover the password but it keeps asking me to enter the phone number associated to the account and I don’t remember it. And it’s impossible to get a hold of someone who can help through google

@@Ridewithjaz Unless you have a paid account Google will not help you. Too many failed attempts just means you have to wait and try again. Normally wait 1, 2, 3 weeks in between the "too many failed attempts". It takes a long time to recover an account. It could be months or even a year.

How long was it inactive? Google generally deletes counts after 2 years if they have not been active.

Also try to log into your account from a physical location that you normally log into the account from. Let us know if you have any questions. Just keep trying the account recovery with these recommendations in mind. If you have been signed in on multiple devices try each one of them individually for account recovery in the same physical location where you normally log into the account.

I followed every step on 3:10, but every time I tapped “recover your account” it starts me all over and doesn’t let me go to the second attempt like you did. I honestly don’t know what to do, cause my last phone finally gave up on me and I have my gmail on there. And every time I tried to sign in with the two step verification code, it sends it to my other phone. So right now idk.

@@klaraminarovic6476 Hopefully you remember an old password. Sometimes you have to try different ways to access the account. The more information you can provide Google that you own the account the more likely you are to recover it. For example, try multiple methods for account recovery and see what happens. You could also try forgot email address and see what happens. You have to try each of these methods over and over until it tells you you've tried too many times. Typically wait a couple days repeat the process. Repeat the process again. Wait a week and repeat the process again. It can take anywhere from a month to a year for the account recovery. I know it's frustrating but if you stay with it you have a high likelihood of recovering the account.

@@amasterofbation This is the only information that google presents on disabled accounts: support.google.com/accounts/answer/40695?hl=en They say if you sign in you will see a disabled notification and be able to file an appeal. Sounds like you cannot get into the account. How do you know it is disabled?

You need to start using a password manager like BitWarden. Check out our channel for helpful videos. A phone that deletes accounts, sounds suspicious.....like maybe there is malware installed.

This , is my problem my simcard expired I ask help to reactivate . But I wonder "how many times you click try another way". Until you enter a phone number instead of save phone number.

Each account recovery attempt will follow a different process. Google does this to prevent hackers from automating account takeover. This video spanned a multi week period of recovery attempts. You have to keep trying until Google tells you too many failed attempts. Waint 1, 2, 3 weeks between recovery attempts after failure. It takes a lot of time and effort to recover an account.

You have to "engage" with Google at every step. What does that mean? It sends you a code, but you don't have access to the phone where the code was sent. You have to make up a code and put it in. It will be wrong...it's ok. Part of the recovery process is to convince Google you are a human. To do that you have to answer every prompt Google presents in the correct format. The answer does not have to be correct. You have to change your process. What does that mean? If you know the password, but are unsuccessful then choose forgot password, or choose forgot email account....Find a way to get Google to present you a different question, even if you don't know the answer. Reference comment above. You should use a computer browser to recover the account. If it is on a previously authenticated account then use Chrome. If it is not a previously authenticated account, then use FireFox.

Account recovery is your only option. Try it from a web browser using the same wifi and internet provider where you were previously logged into.

HI. Your video gave me some hope, and I would like to try your system to try to recover my GMail account. My problem is the following: about 4 months ago I lost access to my GMail mailbox (and the KZread channel associated with the account.) I have the email address to recover and the telephone number that I had associated with the account. I think there is hope. It took us a period of 4 months to recover this account. Eventually Google may give you an alternate way to recover the account.

@@nicolehughes4470 This is a hard answer, but it might take a long time for you to get the account back, if ever. Most important is to try multiple ways: lost password, lost account etc. Try each of these until Google says too many attempts. Then repeat using different wait times in between. Vary the wait times between a few days to 2 weeks. Also try recovery on previously logged in device, same wifi, same internet provider, same browser version etc.

My gmail id is logged out of all devices. It had two factor verification on. When i do forget password, i gets code on phone no. and i put it. Then it asks for another OTP sent on the gmail id. But i don't have the id logged in anywhere else. What should i do?

We've had more success using a browser on a computer. This allows google to pop up and ask questions. Answer all of the questions when prompted. Normally when this happens you're getting close to recovering the account.

It just keeps going back to 'How to recover your Google Account or Gmail' whenever I press 'recover your account.'

You have to keep trying it until it says too many failed attempts. Then wait one week try again until too many failed attempt. Then wait 2 weeks and 3 weeks and try the same thing. It's a long process that could take months.

How come the “aha moment” never happens for me? This vid was only posted 2 months ago. All i get is the “you didn’t provide enough info to verify its you” and try another way doesn’t do anything.

Account recovery is your only option to get the account back. It is ok that the send the code to the phone. Just enter any code. Even though it is wrong, the more times you interact with Google in different ways increases your chances of recovering the account. Hello! I have an old account I would like to recover unfortunately I only know the email. I don't remember the email I added and I don't use my old mobile anymore. It's a really important account to me and I would like to know if there is any way to recover it.

Unfortunately without the email address it's nearly impossible to recover the account unless you have some backup account recovery methods tied to the account. For example you have a phone number tied to the account or a backup recovery email. Do you have either of these?

@@CyberMedics same problem I dont have my old phone number anymore. I cant give them the code sent to my lost number

@@palenciaaldrin8070 are you logging in from a device that was previously authenticated to the account? Are you logging in from the same physical location, the same Wi-Fi, the same browser Etc. The more things are the same as they were when you authenticated to the account the easier it is to regain account access. I know this can be frustrating but you have to keep trying to recover the account until it tells you too many failed attempts. Sometimes you have to let the account rest for maybe a week and then try again. Don't be afraid to experiment with the account recovery process. Even though you remember your password tell it you forgot your password, then I'll ask you to enter an old password. The more things that Google can determine you know associated with the account the more likely you are to recover the account.

@@CyberMedics I'm using different gadgets and a different internet. The only thing i know right now is the phone number the email and the password ( i only used 1 password in this account). It automatically tells me that i dont have enough information.

Cybermedics!, iv'e got my devices restarted because of damages. And do not remember my password or last password! What should i do??

Do you have any backup account recovery methods tied to the account? Google does not offer direct support for account recovery. Be careful of the scammers on this video and other places. They will take your money manipulate your information and you will be in a worse situation.
