Recording Vocals with a LAVALIER MIC - How to Record Vocals WITHOUT an Audio Interface

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Today I'm going to be covering how you can record a vocal with a lavalier mic. I'll be showing you two ways you can record vocals without an audio interface. I'll record one with the sound card on a laptop, and the other vocal I'll record with my iPhone. There are some adapters you need to get to make it work, but you can find them on Amazon for about $5-10.
The lav mic I'm using for this demo is the PowerDeWise Lav mic.

@@ProductionDen I've got a question for you. sometimes when I make beats before I publish them, I really can't tell if the volume is too high or too low. When I've published the beat, I then see that the volume is too low. How can I solve this problem.

  • @ProductionDen

Hey Haex! What you are talking about is the mastering process. One way to compare is to export what you have and then listen to another track at the same volume to see where it sits. One of the most helpful videos for me in learning about mastering was from Asher Postman. kzread.info/dash/bejne/goN1q9ttZMerj6w.html

What single lapel mic would you use/recommend today if you were to re-record it while singing and playing guitar (if you play guitar)

Sir, i appreciate that u made a informative tutorial. But I'm having an issue while recording. I'm using the audio splitter but while recording with it. When I connect headphones in it. Its recording the output signals too. But without connecting anything except mic it records only vocals. Please tell me whats happening in it.

How do you survive without something like FormatFactory, it could have helped to convert from m4a to any format without internet access; and you can record a lot of those voices on your phone and batch convert to any format afterwards

I recorded very my first song like this in 2009 but I used the “I am tpain” app for my vocals & Adobe premiere to monitor the beat. Couldn’t export on the tpain app so I used an aux to record the playback.
