The side chick knows well how to play the game.

For me, I can understand Charles.He may be weak or selfish but he was carrying the Royal dutiues ,rules, a lot. How stressful life he was facing through. We also find a person to comfort us:especially, emotionally and struggles.I think Charles and Camila ,they do understand each other,they really feel the same.In this love story, all of them are poor.I don't see anyone's fault. Trying to love someone is not easy if they don't have the sam feeling of understanding.I want everyone to be free and happy.

The first part of this conversation is why Charles needed a Camilla rather than a Diana. He sounded so passionate about discussing the English language on an intellectual level and it would have gone straight over Diana's head.

@MsJubjubbird. Good point again. I think Camilla had the intelligence that Diana lacked and Charles needed a lot of mental stimulation. Diana only wanted to know about romantic stuff - not real relationships. Diana was not emotionally charged for people or places or events or things of vision. She did however know revenge. If someone or something didn't go her way Diana would become spiteful and plot heavily. Camilla on the other hand could let go. I can't judge what Diana brought to their marriage only Charles can judge this but she really seemed very ruthless. I'm happy Charles found love 💘. Diana just found a ton of empty sex!

Upper-class British women were supposed to marry well and spend their time networking (socializing) with others of their class. However, unlike Diana (who liked only romance novels, and preferred TV/films; Camilla was very well read. But more importantly Camilla came from a stable family whose parents were at odds with each other (like Diana's parents) or Cold and distant (like HMTQ and Prince Philip) Camilla, like Catherine Middletown had a happy upbringing with loving parents who set boundaries for the children when they were growing up (Camilla had a sister and a brother)

There is nothing worse than a man who goes after another man's wife. There is nothing worse than a woman who goes after another woman's husband. It's ok if they have divorced, and if the other partner has found or married a replacement. But not before. Charles was in line to be King - which means he becomes the head of the Anglican Church. A distant cousin of mine was a deacon in the Anglican Church. When his marriage failed, he was sacked, as he broke the rule that marriage is sacred. Why should the rules for Charles and Camilla be different? They both deserve to be despised. Both are ruled by their loins and not their brains.

At least some non fiction dialogues....

@SJC49. Camilla really is a credit to the monarchy! Good point! At her age to be able to do so much!! I honestly think Camilla did not want to be a duchess or queen ( unlike "lady" Diana ). I think Diana wanted to be princess of Wales and eventually queen. Diana even admitted that she will never end up becoming queen. Camilla is more fun and wants privacy and protection and truly enjoys the country whereas Diana wanted the media and viewers and drama. Camilla was content to be a mistress. She married for love. Diana married for a title according to her family and friends she wanted the royal life. Camilla has been very good to Charles and they seem happy!
