Recording an Acoustic Guitar on a Shure MV 88+ (Insane Mic!)

After having watched a Paul Davids video where he used on of these mics.... • The Most Legendary Gui...
I knew I had to have one...and then this lucky guy got one from his wife on his birthday.
In this video I wanted to do something quick and simple ion order to test the ease of setting up...and the prep literally took 1 minute.
I know the aspect ratio in the video is not optimal to watch me playing, as it was recorded within the parameters of what sounded best and not what looked the best.
Please forgive me? Ahh...never mind...you guys know it's about sound... :)

I was trying to find a mic for acoustic guitar, and this is the video that convinced me to go with the Shure mv88+. Amazing playing. Is this a song you wrote/do you have a lesson for this? Beautiful!

Just a note :) It is not that quiet...so if you dont mind a bit of mic noise it should suffice. And no unfortunately, I dont have a lesson for this. Music is not my day job, so I dont really get the time to write out tab...but If i do...I'll let you know :)

Excellent playing and recording Fred. Would like to see more of your left hand on the whole fretboard……. What is the tuning for this?

Hey Paul :). The reason why you don’t see my L hand is in the description :) it was a matter of placement. What sounded great versus what looked great. Also..it’s CGDGAD

oh God, sounds great, but Jesus he Audigo sounds sublime. Can you compare the two for singing and guitar, is it as good as the slick sounding videos they put out?

Yes. A little. Mostly cutting a little around 200.
The mic sounds quite incredible, Fred. Don't recognize which of your instruments you are playing here.
