omg i love this sm. i can't believe i forgot about rsd.i have the longest list of records i need to buy but anyway im so happy for everything you got!!

I got to my record store at 2am and was first in line. I got the one copy of Sabrina Carpenter my store had, Laufey, Noah Kahan and Olivia Rodrigo, and Noah Kahan's album

Also did RSD in Vancouver: woke up at 4:30 am and was in line around 5:30 am for 9 am opening. Made friends while waiting in line and got my RSD haul!! U2 - Atomic City 10” red vinyl Sabrina Carpenter - Feather 7” pink vinyl Olivia Rodrigo x Noah Kahan - Stick Season/ Lacy 7” mauve vinyl

i love your haul! i also got the olivia/noah vinyl in store and the chase atlantic vinyl online this morning. the pixies vinyl looks so pretty also

i went in person for the first time this year too!! i got chappell roan and the stick season/lacy vinyl

I don’t blame you for not really wanting to line up. I don’t like doing it either esp with the weather but I did enjoy talking to randos in line. It’s not so bad! I ended up getting everything I wanted too.

I want the Olivia Rodrigo and Noah kahan one so bad. But at least I got to get the Chase Atlantic one.

Where did you get the shelving your record player is on and that you store your vinyls in?? I've just started collecting vinyl and really need a nice place to store them and love yours!!

Wow nobody's going to mention the crispness of that sleeving process?! Removes the RSD hype sticker like a pro and proceeds to make a proper club sandwich with the cardboard insert + anti-static inner! Is it just me or are those outer sleeves super low profile? There seems to be very little excess on the top. If so, are they the Big Fudge or the Invest In Vinyl brand? I'm currently hunting for that clean fit.

my stick season lacy was 14 dollars omg

Went into my store at 10.30 am and it only got 3 guys in there. There were not into what I was so I got Young Thug and Murder was the case OST. Got The Weeknd Live at SoFi yesterday in an other one. It was just laying there in the storefront. Gonna try to grab more online tonight. Nice pick-ups btw!

I’m pretty sure I’m in the same area and have gone to that same store after my main store for RSD to check for leftovers. If so, omfg I can’t stand them. The Easter hunt idea is just ridiculous to me. I swear the guy is gleeful talking about it in their facebook lives. Can’t relate to his love for that kind of chaos. They also are way more expensive than any of the other stores in the area. Glad you got everything you wanted! Also very sad Pink Pony Club was so limited but hopefully she releases the single on her webstore soon! I remember sprinting to check out when she first put the collector’s vinyl for Midwest Princess up.

yeah i really love their record selection but the chaos and prices might make me start shopping at other local shops!

Lillie you’re so lucky! Each of my store got 70 and 30 of the Liv/Noah and they STILL sold out before… I was like the 100th person in line. They only got five of Sabrina tho. I think I got one resale though that’s not too bad so fingers crossed!! Edit: seems like ur tiny shop marked stuff up a bit! The Olivia was $18 and my Asking Alexandria was only $30

i think a great beginner record player for the price is the audio technica LP60! i’ve had mine for years and it’s amazing (and i will for sure do more vlogs🤭🤭)

I’m so sorry you got ripped off at that record store😭😭at mine it was $14 for the olivia and $30 for the asking Alexandria and I assume the rest you got were $10 more than mine 😭😭😭but at least you got them!

I wanted to go but I had such a long week and I injured my foot really bad and I had a birthday party to go to so I couldn’t 😭 Also my record player has been broken for over a month we’ve had to send it in twice and it’s not getting fixed it has been so sad
