Record Power Bandsaw BS300E Blade Change HD 1080p

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video I show how easy it is to change the blade on my Record Power BS300E Bandsaw. I hope this may help anyone looking for a bandsaw or anyone who is new to using a bandsaw.
This isn't necessarily the correct way for all bandsaws, its just the way I change my blade. You should always refer to the User Manual for you own model and take care with any Power Tool or Machine.

Finally someone who shows the guide carrier adjustment there’s no mention in the manual and simple when you know but too late for my first blade.

Thanks Steve, I struggle with manuals, I find you just have to tinker with these machines and spend a bit of time playing around with them before using them.

@@Terrythemaker yes I’ve spent enough time now to have got the hang I reckon. There’s guide carrier, blade guides, back support bearing, alignment of all that, the bottom set up, bed alignment, it goes on and everyone says it’s easy enough. lol

Thanks. On mine (same machine) the blades are so much harder to remove and replace - with the tension all the way released

Yes I must admit they are not the easiest, I changed mine last week to a 3mm blade and it was a nightmare trying to tension it up and get the blade to sit in the middle, but overall a good machine. If I had the chance to buy it again I would buy the next model up which has attention arm/lever on the back.

@Terrythemaker 3mm blade? Is that 1/8th Have you ever tried the scroll blades for these? Apparently there's a scroll blade attachment but since I inherited mine from my dad I know little about bandsaws and I'm trying to learn . Struggled with tight corners. .. anyway, thanks for the video. It's very easy to follow.
