I've had this exact unit for 10 months, it doesn't care about HDCP. It records anything that has hdmi output. Roku, Firestick, ppv boxing, DvD player, EVERTHING!

Can you pause and rewind while it’s still recording? Or do I have to wait until the recording is done to watch it? Hulu and cable allow you to rewind and pause the show while it’s still recording.

A little on the high end, and still have get storage device. How well does 4k video come out? after recording? Can you take or watch the recoding on another devise?

im so stuck i have a firestick i have the cloner i have it plugged in right im pretty sure i have my 128 flash drive jnto it , i hit record it was recording for 2 hours i hit play back it shows me a screen that says select usb ... i click ok and then there is NOTHING on the usb ...

To bypass the HDCP protection, to be sure I see the video correctly, are pressing and holding for 5 seconds the "SOURCE" button please? The new ClonerAlliance Box PRO has, from left to right, the "SOURCE" button, the "SNAPSHOT" button and the "REC/STOP" button. Also wondering about the audio formats. My belief would be that it would record at whatever format is coming through the HDMI cable, but looking at the audio in-out plugs, I'm guessing it's simply vanilla stereo

But hdmi carries 5.1 and higher surround sound . None of the different uploaders responded to my question about this .

So your telling me I can not record movies off of KZread or any source that I paid for to watch a movie. But will record old vcr tapes, camera, camcorder, TV, ex box sources and cd movies that I buy, BUT will NOT record movies off the internet like from KZread sources that I buy online because they have a block? If I pay for a movie they should unblock it so I can save it for later to watch. SO , I still have to get an encriptor app to watch some movies.

On scheduling a recording, how does it know which CHANNEL you want to record? Say I am watching live TV at 8:00 am on ABC and I want to record the Golf channel at 2:00 pm for 3 hours. Can you do that? Your recording does not show how to tell it what channel to record. If it can record time and channel you want, I will get it ASAP. Thx.

The only issue i have with the Cloner Alliance UHD Pro is that if you use a 1T memory stick drive to record and you press record it takes up to 5 minutes to prepare before it actually starts recording. I've literally timed it myself and this is rather annoying so i wish their was a fix for this. The only question i have is "can you watch the recordings on a PC ?" or are you just limited to playing it only on the Cloner Alliance unit.

Why would I or anyone else buy this? If you can't record from saying Netflix Tubi and so on and so forth, seems to defeat the purpose of buying this product.

No, has to be a source, antenna is not the same type of source as firestick, etc

This is kind of a scam. It cannot record copyrighted material from a streaming service. HDMI has built-in copy protection. He hints at a 'modified' version available which, if it even exists, would be illegal.

You can slow videos down by the settings button on upper right corner and adjust speed
