Hello Mami, I'm non brahmin girl but married to a brahmin guy.i dont know to cook in brahmin style so used to watch all ur videos and prepare accordingly for all poojas. Last Navarathri also referred ur videos and prepared all neiveithiyams. Everyone appreciated me. Thank you Mami. My mother used to teach me to strain the chilli paste ground with water . We used to make the mavu in cooker bottom previous night and will close & keep .Morning we will add lemon juice & do it . Your demo was good 👍

Oh good . I was just thinking about that because even my mom does it in cooker bottom in the previous night itself and then add lemon juice the next day early morning and then we go to the terrace to make vadams.

I used to prepare maavu in the evening and make Vadams in the night. Morning it comes up. Then keep it under the Sun as I was working in a school in Hyderabad. My friends too follow the same. But my mother used to prepare in the morning as she was very orthodox

Hello mami Thank you. My vadam goes red in colour . I grind rice and javarisi after soaking overnight and prepare vadam. Just I tried as an alternate to going to machine for raw grinding of rice flour. Please comment
