Sound is a stimulus detected by ears; the ears are the receptors.
The tongue is a receptor that detects chemicals in food.
The chemicals in the air is the stimulus and is detected by receptors in your nose.
Pain/pressure receptors in the skin detect pressure/pain, which are the stimuli.
