🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.
I have several series on my channel that you might be interested in such as: Body Types, Contouring, Makeup History and Makeup Transformations. Also some random beauty hacks about skin care, hair, nails and beauty in general.

    Thank you for this video 💕 I never liked my chin, it always looks like I have a double chin although I'm thin and sporty, but I tried to ignore it. It's genetic, my dad has it too. The biggest downfall came when the guy I liked told me that I look like a turtle because of my chin and neck. My self-confidence just died. Since then I hated every single bit about my face, my neck and especially my chin. I looked up how I could fix it with operations, more sport and food. Now with 21, I try to love myself again. It's hard and I have some major problems, but videos like this one help a lot. Thank you, Ally 💕

    Yes!! The double chin issue is what I hate the most about having a weak/receding chin. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t care. I’m underweight and in good shape, so diet & lifestyle is definitely not the issue for me either. I doubt I’ll ever get any procedures done, since it’s really not that big of a deal at the end of the day, and I’ve never had anyone point it out aside from my siblings (they call it my “chuzzle”... even though my sister and my dad have it too).

    Honestly, besides the tiny, nondescript, slightly upturned nose, almost no nose is considered particularly attractive, especially on women. I used to hate my nose because it's long and has a little bump but I've come to like it anyway. I guess this is easier if you have good relationships with your family and heritage, because ever since I view my nose as something that reminds me of my parents and my home country it feels a bit more likeable. I also see a lot of beautiful women in everyday life that have all kinds of nose shapes and sizes so maybe consider if you're being a bit too critical towards yourself. Also, if you have a convex face shape, which you probably do based on what you wrote, bangs might help! I understand where you're coming from and I know it's not easy to stop worrying about an insecurity you've had for a while but I hope maybe something in this comment helps.

    Key Z I’m so sorry you’re getting recommendations like that. In modern times it feels like we’re all pressured to only have certain features from all different ethnicities. Hence this Tina fey quote- ““Now every girl is expected to have Caucasian blue eyes, full Spanish lips, a classic button nose, hairless Asian skin with a California tan, a Jamaican dance hall ass, long Swedish legs, small Japanese feet, the abs of a lesbian gym owner, the hips of a nine-year-old boy, the arms of Michelle Obama, and doll tits.” However I think there’s something to be said for diversity in our features and that can be beautiful. For example dainty small lips can be just as nice as large, pouty ones. Round and almond eyes are beautiful, same with upturned and down turned eyes. And same with noses of course. A girl I know has an Aquiline nose and she always tells me how she wants a nose job but a think the lil bump looks super cute on her and I woudlnt want her to change it!! Ofc it’s a personal matter at the end of the day but still :)

    Marilyn Monroe apparently had a very weak chin and she got a chin implant. Im so glad that there are videos like yours letting people know that there is beauty in having small chins because a lot of people seem to think that having a small chin is a "flaw". I personally think it looks dainty and cute. My issue is how other people react towards those with small chins that makes them feel the pressure to go under the knife and "fix" it.

    I’m underweight and have a double chin issue, so I feel your pain. I know that, for myself, my weak chin is the result of having incisors that are longer than my molars, so no orthodontic procedure was able to fix the issue.. I would have to get my teeth filed down and then covered with veneers. Let’s just say, I would rather just have a double chin. Lol. Along the same lines, I wouldn’t want surgery either. But then again, my chin situation isn’t severe enough to REALLY bother me, and it doesn’t cause any pain or problems eating. Just a mild case of sleep apnea... and that’s only if I sleep on my back (which I seldom do).

    I am a petite woman with a round face and soft features, big nose and lips and a receding chin. I thought braces would fix everything but I ended up with an overjet bite. My dentist then realized after years of xrays that my mandible recedes and doesn't line up with the maxilla. Though I have a chubby face, my double or shall I say triple chin is crazy. My jawline is not so prominent either. However, I'm still considered to be a "pretty girl" and can be quite photogenic, just not from the bottom or side profile lol. People don't really notice intricacies, however It stresses me so much. I always move my bottom jaw forward just to align it with my upper jaw, it looks and feels so much better. I feel like getting corrective jaw surgery or doing those chin exercises or fillers. What should i do guys?

    You don't want surgery no no no unless it's so severe and your still young 😉 Look up JAW surgeries and you will be horrified at how many people get them and regret what the Surgeon did to them because they're in WORSE shape now 😢 The JAW is very very tricky and one wrong move and they can cut a nerve that will keep you feeling nothing numb tingling in you FACE and pain for LIFE as well as distort your FACE even more it's really scary be careful making these decisions If you're born with a deformity or a horrible accident then I understand but a double chin no way unless it's causing you pain or severe distortion or jaw issues then I understand but EVEN then you better find the very BEST a surgeon who does JAW surgeries on the regular 😵‍💫🥴😘 Good Luck and your beautiful no matter what 🌈

    I've never understood "weak chin" insults. A more prominent chin would just throw the balance of the rest of my face off, and I like my full round face. I don't even contour on my face, only a bit on what I perceive as a double chin - which is only visible in some bad photos. I'm very short, and most people don't even see my double chin.

Also I did some fat removal with aqualyx or that type of product (it is definitive, not like fillers!) , and now my chin is a bit weak but it enhanced a lot my look. Really for those who struggle accepting their chin, there are solutions, but you need patience and to take actions! And remember every feature is beautiful and you slayyy ! When I discovered mewing, I realised that I never put my tongue on the top. I did a lot of orthodontic treatments, and I think that because of all of those things I just forgot about where to put my tongue. And my jawline started to disappear, I was always with my mouth open, even when I was sleeping. And my front teeth moved because of that, and my orthodontist did'nt know what was happening. Many years later I discover mewing, and properly put my tongue on the top. It was difficult at first. But I changed it for a year now and my jawline changed. Of course I don't have an extra chiseled one but it is a normal feminine jawline.

    It makes sense that placing your tongue properly can somehow influence your face since it has so many muscles. When I tried mewing, it felt uncomfortable since it was straining the muscles under my chin, but after a few months the fat under my chin disappeared so yes, I got what I wanted

I know it sounds silly, but it has always been an insecurity of mine.I used to do botox for it, but I have let it ware off completely in an effort to make peace with they way I look naturally. I am finding it very hard. Also, when you google or go on youtube to find videos about women who specifically embrace their aging faces and forehead wrinkles, all that comes up is basically advise on how to get rid of the wrinkles with botox. I would love to hear your opinion as I truly adore your way of looking at faces and seeing the beauty in things that others consider to be flaws.💕

    Then to ensure you do not pass a weak and receding chin onto your children, you must teach them to keep their mouth close, not to mouth breath and ensure they are chewing their food as equally as they can on each side of the mouth. and do not have your toddlers eating only soft food. weak and receding chin is mostly due to children mouth breathing and only consuming soft foods as toddlers. you may also look into mouth taping.

    Nah...it's genetic. I have an overbite even after braces. But my chin itself, structurally, failed to develop. Like if I push to feel the chin bone itself is tiny and sloped. Even if I had my jaw surgically moved forward to get rid of the overbite, my chin is still tiny and sloped back. I'm not a mouth breather, even at night. I'm always careful to chew equally on both sides and my jaw is nice...until you get to the chin part. :(

  • @user-pl5nu6vn7c

    @user-pl5nu6vn7c

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@dawnmcfarland7011 What you are describing is due to your tongue posture which effects how the jaw and chin bone grows. If you close your mouth but have your tongue not touching the roof of your mouth then your chin will develop poorly. If you breath through your mouth when sleeping then your chin will recede even worse. If you are under the age of 18, you might still be able to benefit from mewing. Weak chin is 100 percent orthognathic related and bad tongue posture is hereditary habit that you are more prone to do. Parents technically should teach their child to rest their tongue at the roof of their mouth since not all kids will do that naturally. I know I didn't so you're not alone. I think this generation is just better educated then the last on how to lessen the appearance of weak chins for future generations.
