    used to be a member there years ago. they were bone dry in summer after the 40 degree heat. they cant maintain a level throughout the year without a pump which tarmac used to run.

    Thats the thing about nature pal it marches on relentless reclaiming everything in its path its sad to see places become neglected and overgrown if it was run as a fishery it was possibly netted and the fish sold on to another fishery but i would imagine the pike and silver fish would still be around good video jas interesting

    It had pegs made out of scaffolding if it is the water I’m on about in was netted and move to there other lakes

    That right mate boat Inn had it back in the day no dayticket just a book to buy once a year to fish it

    I believe you Rob I Can't see a fishery just allowing thing to just rot and die especially the fish stock and yes some would of slipped the nets off the big lake mainly

    That's a shame not everyone gets along i mean we all love fishing I been going lovells lots recently and met three people recording they seem very nice

    Some are mate don't get me wrong but some also just take take take hence why I went solo less dramas and no booking same dates, lovells is OK but when your fed up of the same scene it's time for a change

    wow that was badly overgrown wonder why no one had taken it over years ago, seems such a waste, hats off to you though mate that looked hard work, still at least you know now, if you hadn't of taken a look it would have drove you nuts

    It were driving me nuts the last few years mate, I tryed a year or more ago with my little one but it were just to unsafe for my kiddo plus it were near summer aswell and nothing could be seen, back in the day the quarry pumped in to it hard keeping the waters topped up and with the colour of the water it kept the growth down especially on the main lake, we heard rumours that they was moving fish on to another location if that was done or not am not 100% but another comment seems like they did
