I read that first line in my sarcastic voice, but yes... I think setting goals is important. Never hurts to try.

I don't do goals. I can never keep them. I just go with the flow and get things done. I admire that you can keep them.

I don't know if I keep them or just accidentally succeed sometimes... lol But I do try a little.

Joseph I wish we could get a mental assistant. You also are getting better and better at carrying the art conversation in your streams. I completely respect your choice to keep family and friends off the list of topics that are available for discussion. I also have that same opinion, I don't want to put others out in the public space. I choose to do this, they don't so I respect their privacy and I respect your choice to do the same. "Paint Louder" that would be a great idea for your first piece of merch. Congratulations on all the goals you did meet and as for the others, you did not fail, you may have landed slightly short but the progress made was a success and you will reach them as you continue. We can never stop learning, so true! Adding the edited videos will definitely have you reaching that watch time goal. Best of luck with all of your goals for this year! Looking forward to all the content to come. My goals for 2022 are definitely focused around Growth as well, both in my art and on the business side of things

Joseph, the amount of planning and details that you put into your goals are impressive. I’ve missed your livestreams lately due to a schedule change but I’m trying to catch up. My goal for 2022 is the same as last year and the same as one of yours: make more art. I guess I succeeded last year as I did make more art than 2020, but I didn’t make as much as I wanted. So it’s rinse and repeat for this year 😊

Thanks Lisha, and yup make more art is always on my list from now on, as long as I don't think the quality is suffering, as I did a little during last year.. Here's to more art and more crap. 😃 The infomercial was something I did during the reflected landscape painting after Nick gave it that wonderful name during a stream. Figured I would throw it in there since it is art in its own way. 😁

'Goal 0 - Realise when you're doing stupid things and try and avoid doing them'! LOL!!! Wise words to live by! Thoughtful video Joseph! Had not thought of my own goals and attitudes for this year yet. Thinking.... know the livestreams are not profitable as such but they give your community a chance to engage and grow, from that come Patreon/merch sales as we get fully invested. Lisa's example. So my 2 cents... concentrate on engaging chat and audience during livestream even if you don't finish the piece after 2 of them, then edit and voice over the actual art making for a seperate 'evergreen' speed paint with tips release that registers views and watch time for YT from that same piece of work. 1 artwork made, 2 goals addressed. With my 5 year old HP computer, have just replaced one of the 2 hard drives with a small SSD drive to just manage Windows 10's seriously bloated software and the computer has sped up significantly....was my frugal solution for another 2 years of use before having to buy a new PC (not a Mac fan). Thanks Starving, Yup, that goal Zero is an important one. 😉 You've basically said everything I've been thinking. One of the reasons I've been trying to figure out how to record the raw footage as well as doing the stream... 2 in 1. I just did the same thing with a new graphics card a year or two ago and a new SSD just last August, and it to just barely runs W10, but every now and then when I wake it up, it blue screens and restarts. I'll be happy as long as it keeps restarting... lol
