because kingdom hearts has been very vague in some games which is either explained as the combination of hearts, worlds or both, apparently MoM thinks its possible possible to create a data or memory kingdom hearts.

Yep. What a story. But it was the variety of gameplay that made me fall in love with Re:Coded, even if platforming on a DS was tough as nails.

Fun Fact that was missed in this video: Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is a REMAKE of Kingdom Hearts: Coded which was a Japanese-exclusive mobile phone game.

Thanks for making this video! It’s 5 years later and KH3 is coming out in 2.5 days and I wasn’t sure how important coded was. Turns out it is! This video helped a lot. Thanks :)

These videos are really helpful. I played Re:Coded a while back before I even touched the other entries and now that I'm going through them all, these really help elaborate on points I'm fuzzy on. Plus I came close to finishing Re:coded back then but never did, so simply watching the recap instead of starting over is a nice time saver.

i just had the 3 hour theater running and still needed this video to summarize what i watched. i'm glad this wasn't a game to actually play. also there's another scene left out here, called Destiny... the dude in the eye patch took out all the people that would become Organization XIII nobodies with Xehanort in Terra's body there.

I knew ppl hate this game cuz of the side story but i think it's a good one. If this game didn't came out then how will mickey find out who wrote the things in the journals (jiminey wrote it but namine erase his memory writing it)

This was my first Kingdom Hearts game. People seem to not like it, but it was definitely my favorite.

If it wasn't for your video I wouldn't have understood shit. Great recap mate!

Tldr: they digitize jiminy crickets journal and find out sora has people trapped in his heart so they make a message in a bottle for him.

I'm happy that I completed this on proud mode because it was difficult... Very difficult!

Well your in luck because this game is pointless for the overall narrative of KH3. All you really need from this game is that Xehanort is back, something that been remined in every entry after 2 anyways. So basically just ignore this game entirely.

These have been fine recaps so far, lad. I still detest the handheld games for their unnecessary clusterfuck stories though. I really look forward to KH3 for finally ending this horrid timeline. Sad part is that the timeline wouldn't be so bad if these handheld spinoffs were treated as spinoffs.

Dreamcast Dazia oh, noooo, the only one that isn’t a cluster f was 358/2 days. this game, BBS, and DDD add so many unnecessary details that make the overall story so much more convoluted. ESPECIALLY BBS and DDD.

This one is definitely the dumbest/craziest story of the KH games

Man, I remember stealing this game from a Wal-Mart right after beating 365 1/2. I loved that one so much that I had high hopes for Re:Coded. While not the best it was definitely unique, fun in its own way, & I'm happy I had a chance to play and beat it

Agustin Freyre lmao, all the games are connected... i see you havent played them all. The only shitty one happens to be... re coded/coded. While the story is pretty ass, but if you really cared about how mickey found out about everything that he knows in kh3, there ya go. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep explains everything that was unanswered in kh1 (how riku had the power of the keyblade, what the legend of destiny islands is, how ansem was created and why he looks like riku, etc.), while KH ReCoM and KH2 are both continuations of KH1, continuing the Xehanort Saga. Finally, Dream drop distance, which is a game that, more or less, is the mark of mastery exam where riku saves sora from being plunged into darkness. It also sets up sora to have zero abilities in kh3, because as we know, he cant ever have those when a new game comes out. KH 0.2 is the story of aqua in the dark realm, and how she helps mickey and riku close the doors to kingdom hearts (in kh1). In reality, every game is important to some degree. Now, why are they making a Kh3? Well, when someones nobody and heartless are both destroyed, they come back. Since Ansem is Xehanorts heartless, and is destroyed in the kh1, and xemnas is xehanorts nobody who is destroyed in kh2, master xehanort comes back and is tryna kill everyone. Great story, the end.

So in short this game isn’t important to the story.
