I joined late 2020 on my Xbox after having one of my friends suggest me to play rec room. For some reason, Listening to some relaxing rec room OST, Seeing the old watch menu style as well as other things, gives me a sense of nostalgia…

I joined early 2020 and don’t remember any introduction I just got thrown into the sunset cinema and was amazed by the box opening system

Screenmode doesn't have it in the tutorial (Not sure about orientation tho) but in games like paintball it says clear as day "VR players can Walk or Teleport"

Joined rec room in December of 2016. The game has changed so much and is a lot better now. I wish I could say the same about the community though. I'd definitely quit because of the toxic players, but my friends make me stay. Lots of nostalgia, thanks for the video.

well the game is slightly better since the new big changes. i would quit because of the toxics yet i do like messing with them. i'm already making a video about one toxic kid who's mom wont stop coming into their room. its gonna be funny i'll tell ya. 😂 hope i'll finish it soon

i remember the 2017-2020 tutorial because i first played rec room in like 2019 in ps4, i might get a vr headset soon, and holy crap! the new tutorial for this year is super different!

Aaahhh so much nostalgia 2017 that when I joined rec room and it's been a blast seeing it change even tho it's not the same like the old days but at least I still get a laugh when I play this game

I remember that 2018 tutorial, and loved it.

My gosh rec room sure has improved

I joined in early 2018 and I believe it was a month before the rec center had all the construction stuff in it. It was just like 2016 version but the tutorial was the dodgeball tutorial from 17 to 20 but without height calibration or walk mode

i started RecRoom in 2019 The Tutorial Was Perfect! But now in 2021 was Changed everything the old one was perfect and Looked like Normal RecRoom. i think the opd one is coming back soon... But thanks for the video! am subbing to you. So much!

Joined July of 2021. Wasn’t lucky to hear the OOBE theme. I was one of the unfortunates who still played on Quest 1 and now I can’t play the game anymore and only can play it on my phone. I miss the 2016-2020 era.

During the 2020 version, there’s a part where you’re introduced to your dorm and given your watch. You can also customize your character before the account setup/tutorial begins. It’s exclusive to new accounts

Ever since a 2022 update, you usually get your dorm room key at the very end, but with the update, you just get your watch at the end and use it to join a room

I first played RR in 2019 & it was the best experience ever not knowing how to use gizmos playing with clothes & faces. Man time goes fast 😩

I joined like 1 month ago and dang, the 2021 tutorial is so cool

its sad watching the 2016 - 2017 tutorial. i wish i could do it again:(

damn i cant beleive how much rec room has changed. even if i started in 2020 i still experienced quite some changes but i didnt think it was that much changes

I remember when I joined like time ago when I was 9 in 2016 and coach used to say Tellyport, as a british I found that amusing.

Joined in 2020 and heavily relied on inventions. Now in 2021 I made everything I my dorm from the chairs and the walls to the third floor and telekinesis button

I'm happy they kept the characters the same lol

I joined this year with the VR headset i got. Wish i came see this game earlier man.

man i didnt get an orientation i just spawned in my dorm and had to figure everything myself

The first one was only in 2017; 2016 had an intro with a door in an empty world that took you to the even older dorm

The 2016 -17 music is so peaceful ☺️

At the orientation when u actually on a new account in your dorm room ther is a box with the watch

In 2021, I previously learned the Orientation tutorial someday.

When I first joined Rec Room after the tutorial when I left my dorm, there was this big hallway with other peoples dorms, and I could see other people leaving their dorms it’s weird. I’ve looked on Reddit Google I’ve looked everywhere, but for some reason I can’t seem to find the version it was in I might be delusional, but I swear I remember it.

Why does 2017-2018 have a cool dorm room
