Genuinely admire your talents. Removing seized bolts is definitely a skill. WD40 or similar is always helpful. I spray plenty on. Try and move the fastener and spray again. If it moves a fraction, spray and wait, try again in a few minutes, repeat repeat, repeat. I took best part of two half hrs to pull a broken off spark plug from a head in the car. That was with a 3/8"square "easyout" with a 1/2' strongbar on it. It would move a tiny bit and stop with a screech, so put on spray, leave and do something else and then sneak up on it and try again. I don't know how the easyout didn't break but we got it out. Patience, knowledge and a bit of luck go a long way. I think the key was waiting for the WD40 to capillary in.

Dude you might have had more luck with the classic 5.3, but so cool having the diesel in her.

I have a Isuzu 4BD1T in a 1960 International Metro I have as a work vehicle to haul parts and pieces around. I don't haul anything trailer wise really so it's more that enough grunt for my little fairly light panel van. Interesting watching these rebuilds since most of my knowledge for diesels doesn't extend past VAG TDI's and Merc OM606's and that isn't very indepth past basic rebuild and servicing.

Rich is it great to see you back doing wrenching on cool machines. I didn't know how large farm machinery worked and know I do. All that SEMA stuff is just boring drivel. Rebuilding a 4BT is way more interesting.

On ve’s you have a restrictor on the return not the inlet (where you pointed to on the vid. Usually a 0.75 or 0.50 hole in the banjo
