Man I’m excited for this build I’ve always wanted an Evo especially the final edition ever since I saw them at the LA auto show years ago. I honestly can’t imagine owning one of these cars and having it get wrecked I’d be devastated man. I’m gonna try again and hope I win this legendary car haha keep up the grind dev respect.

They're great cars. Ngl never thought I'd own one either but I got lucky enough to find a good deal on one 4 years ago. 154k miles now still running strong lol.

All the comments that are saying yes and they love it?? I get it, Devin’s attention to detail is f**king insane. But we have like 200 evo build and 199 subi builds on the channel. They must be EVO owners. As I mentioned in my comment, I’ll still watch because I enjoy Devin and his content is fire. Just wish we would get out of his comfort zone more often and explore the cars he has like the NSX, supra, etc. 😅

4:16 there isn’t much a frame machine and a welder cannot repair, this is an iconic car and the last of a dying breed. I hope this turns out as well as the evo 8, and once the frame horn is fixed I bet it will be a lot easier to restore back to glory.

The Canada market got the final edition with the Recaro's. Many final edition owners ordered those and swapped out to make it right.

In US the FE did not come with Recaro seats because US made a change in safety regulation and Mitsubishi did not want to spend money changing the the seat to meet safety standards. They regular lancer seats in it.

Can confirm, octane blue is the best. I actually have a Final Edition blue octane in my garage :). Canada version are a bit different i think. It might give me some idea to do to mine :)

10:24 solid, you can replace that apron if the strut tower is remotely straight….. shit I am getting real hype for this build, I did have the first year of the evo x in blue and had a family happen so it had to go. Best of luck and let’s make some great content from this car
