I still have the 1971 CT70 my dad bought me as my first bike. I will never forget doing my first oil change on it at 9 thinking I was some genius and the many burns I attained by the exhaust. I need to go over and refresh it like it deserves after my many years of mud bogging and ratting the thing out. Not to mention it still starts on the first kick.

I have my 72 same my father for my birthday Mine still runs abuts it’s worn out Somehow managed to not destroy it but doing a resto now also maybe 12-15 years ago a customer gave me his I believe 1969 or 70 that needs a lot but looking forward to getting them done

Lucky kid to have a mum that will let her responsibly enjoy a great and wholesome sport Aaron made this look super easy, would make a great starter project if you want to go on to some bigger bike projects at some point

This is cool, big fun. And same here for me, a 50cc Honda Dax was my first motorcycle in '75 when I was an American teen in Frankfurt, West Germany. And local laws were a bit relaxed for us 'military dependents' as I recall that we could ride a 50cc motorcycle at the age of 15 and then something more powerful at age 17--so I had the Honda for the street and the woods and then an italian-made Harley 175 once I turned 17. And my favorite trip on the Honda was an August '75 ride from Frankfurt to Darmstadt and back with a friend who had a 50cc Yamaha. And we took turns at the front to give those little engines a break.

My dad had 2 trail 90s from the 70s with perfect patina on them but I was young and dumb and didn't know what they were.

I have this same year bike in mint condition all original

Did my '81 CT70 restore about 5 years ago. Put about 1100km on it since then and every time I ride it someone offers to buy it from me! Glad to see another one restored and back on the road guys!

Aaron is living a really amazing life. He gets to enjoy his hobbies and his family everyday.

I had one, greatest time of life when your on a motorcycle, no license, riding down the railroads tracks, not coming back.. cool family...

I own a 1969 ct70 honda bike, and I have been wanting to do a full build with it. Awesome bike!!! I enjoyed how organized you where about the whole build, inspiring!

The Trail 70 was the first two-wheeler I rode with a clutch. The late 60's and early 70's was an awesome time to grow up. Everyone in the neighborhood had mini-bikes.

I remember the qa50 Honda as well as all the 1969 bikes I had a dealership East side Honda here in Detroit Michigan down the street from were we live.

I come back to watch this every other month, its such a well put together build and Aaron is just great at narrating.

This was my first motorcycle i got as a kid...

My dad owns a CT50G which sit for about 22 years in the garage. After some carb cleaning and a oil change it runs perfect ! Still there is plenty to do but it's good enough for now.

My dad bought one of these and the Honda 50 model back in the 70's, we mostly ran the 50, the 70 was a torque monster. I was going up a big hill on the 50 and guy on a big bike said you will never make it up there I told him you just watch, I did make it up there. I love these bikes.

I love that you actually show some riding after each of the rebuilds. so many people out there spend all this time to rebuild something forgetting that its begging to be ridden!

We had a1970 model, green. Then it was all mine. Lot of memories too!

That was my 1st bike when I was a little boy, I believe it must have been 1976. Was a great time. But as I remember right, the Dax was called ST-70 , in any case in Europe and in Asia. Never mind, you did again a nice job !

These were millions of peoples first bike. Mine wasnt ( ke 100). they put nostalgia in the soul when people see their first. Priceless

That turned out great! I had 2 of them 1 automatic and manual. We would ride all night sometimes. Great job 🙂
