It's a Masterpiece. I can't imagine anybody coming up with this on guitar. That's some level that us mere mortals don't achieve.
your finger picking for the intro is awesome! This song is filled with quick 80s riffs of legend.

Totally agree, awesome intro nailed by Sparky. To quote wikipedia "The instrumental introduction, which sounds like a combination of electric guitar and electronic keyboard, is performed by Stevens on guitar alone, who intended it to sound this way. Stevens states that he was inspired by acoustic guitarist Leo Kottke's style."
The song I didn't know I wanted to play until I saw this video. Always wondered how that intro riff was done.

The beginning of the verse is x x 9 11 x x not x x 9 7 7 x And the B power chord he uses to start the chorus is the x244xx version. Other than that, lookin good!

Ha! This one was recorded quite a long time ago. Nowadays I would probably source exactly same model ray gun - from the same year - to recreate the tone!
