One of my most favorite Chinese historical dramas. The story is so real and touching. For those interested in Chinese noble history and culture, there is so much real leaning from this drama. The cross-marriage for filial ties is so amazing - as it happened in other cultures. Worth watching the whole series!!!

OMG I just finished watching rebel princess. The most handsome general of all time, should be sexist man ever. The general and princess made me believe in love again and I'm old but boy they lid up the screen with the they kiss and look at each other. Great acting. Will definitely follow them with their movies. 😂

The princess though she’s a royal and noble her life is somewhat in a mess . First when she eloped with 3rd prince , she was stood up. Note that it was her mother who arranged it. Then her father arranged her to be married to Lord Yuzhang , on wedding night the groom left her without consummating their marriage . She was kidnapped and suffered much. Up to the time she was kidnapped , she has done nothing wrong to anybody . She doesn’t even know the reason why she was kidnapped by villains . The Rebel Princess story is quiet interesting .
