It’s extremely rewarding seeing my Land buzzing with Life, color, and texture. Encouraging Native Biodiversity has been a Life changer for me 😊🙏🕊️

Thanks for the interview. This was excellent. Gardening is for sure good for us and healthy. In the scriptures, the first couple were put in a paradise garden and given the assignment to expand it. It was literally a God given assignment. Obviously things have taken a detour but the prophecy in Isa ch 65 is encouraging. In the meantime people like Rebecca give us a wonderful glimpse of what is possible.

Somehow I have not heard her speak before... And I am a new Yorker. Thank you for having her on. The native only, everything else is deemed invasive... attitude is unfortunately out there. It can be hard not to become a bit paranoid and feel like you'll have to defend every plant-choice you make. While I won't give up Peony's, hakonechloa, Hellebores, and Calamagrostis Karl Forester (I know), I will happily also use more and more native carex varieties as the base layer, more native grasses for texture, and more native perennials for the color. And then I can keep everyone happy...yep. paranoia. Almost all gardens get Monarda and lobelia for the Hummingbirds. I'm finding hummingbirds make for happy clients. Every. Time.

Hope that bird is a rescue and not a pet.
