She was a wonderful person I got to know in college. Drinking wine with a group of friends quite often 🙏 🤲 🙏
I had the pleasure years ago, of playing a run of Secret Garden out in Los Angeles. For reference, they gave each of us in the orchestra, a copy of the original Broadway cast recording. It was there on that recording, I first heard the show, and when Ms. Luker started to sing, as Lilly, I lost it. I started to cry and to this day, every time I listen to her voice it makes me tear up. What a woman! RIP to a legend.
My husband and another good friend of mine were friends with her and worked with her at what is now Virginia Samford Theater in Birmingham, Alabama. They say she was a very lovely person and very kind. The whole city was saddened by her death.

i love panaro's phantom but i think raoul suits him more! His voice is so tender, sweet, warm... sounds like a prince! I really love it!
She had and always will have a beautiful voice. Every song she sang embraced the meaning of every lyric. There are very few Broadway actors that are capable of being a good singing actor. Mandy Patinkin who starred in the secret garden is one of them
