Thanks for the video and beautiful truck brah! I have a 2.7 TT Ecoboost Lincoln MKX reserve and pretty much have experienced the same perks you mentioned. With the 21" wheels the added weight made it more sluggish and less responsive but the tune cleaned that up plus definite difference in the power now even in the eco/normal mode and even better mpg over stock. In Sport mode its a different beast and surprised a lot of fast cars on the hwy when I pulled on em lol.

Just did turbo smart blow off valves, took the turbo silencers out, and full intake. If you like turbo noise that will give you some. Nice ride

Got the 4 inch BDS and I love the stance now with Toyo ATlll 295/60/20 I was going to recalibrate the speedo, tire size is only 1inch larger than stock, Stillneed a tune on my 5.0? With the Winter weather have not really been able to get her out on the highway with all this lockdown shit.

You can tune if you want. There’s still a lot of added weight from adding the components of the lift. Its really your call. Some tune some don’t.

Were you able to adjust your speedometer with that’s runner? I know the big tires throw off the factory set up. Some tuners can adjust that for tire size.

Yep the SCT device allowed me to choose the correct tire and revs per mile. Still about 1-2mph off but much better than 5mph-7mph

I'm getting a 6" drop kit, lighter wheels and performance sport tires on mine with a tune. Here comes the mpgs

I have a 2012 F-150 Lariat 4x4. I want to change out the headlights. I like the new headlights on the 2022. What brand should I buy, and what you think the price would be purchasing and installing?

On that 07-14 gen installing is no problem at all you could easily do it yourself. There's nice LED outline lights for that generation on eBay for around $250-$400 depending on what brand and quality you want.

Has anybody had any problems with a tuner?my edge tuner put my 03 F-150 into theft mode and I couldn’t start it, had to end up having it towed to the dealership. I really miss the power it gave me but I’m super nervous that it will kill my truck again

From what I see you have the sctx4 tuner with MPT tunes is that correct? I was just wondering what made you chose MPT over say 5* or someone else? And also, are you happy with the tunes and have you tried any other tuners tunes? Any input would help thanks

Not sure what MPT credits are... and what you mean you can’t purchase tuner from MPT web? Thats where I got mine

I have a 2016 EcoBoost leveled with 33's and the MPT tune. Question, I've read that the spark plug gaps from factory are too wide and should be tightened. Did you mess with your gaps? I'm gonna a call MPT and ask, but just wondering. Truck looks good!

Precitae it man! I did not, but I did read both ends of the spectrum. Some people say you should others say not necessary. Sure it varies. Yes if you speak with MPT let me know what they say. Curious to know. Precitae you watching!

Joe Resch speaking from experience here non related to ecoboost. I used to DD my civic that I personally ran a turbo on it. But sometimes running much higher boost will blow out spark and cause break up especially in mid to high rpm’s. That’s really the only time ive needed to tighten up the gap on my plug. This is going from 19 psi to 26 psi. Hopefully that helps. I plan on getting an f150 ecoboost, but tuning is something i wont do until the warranty expires.

Love the eco boost. I know I have a unpopular opinion but I lovey the baby diesel noise and not the loud V8 80’s sound.....

That is true! I definitely do like that sound. I heard if you get the right echo setup you can make it sound like a diesel.

I recalibrated it with the tuner. It’s still slightly off by like 2mph. I haven’t had the opportunity to go back and really fix the settings

Yea they did some trimming to the front plastic but nothing outrageous. Typical trimming

MPT performance.com. I have thier 93 PRX tune. I boight mines years ago so things may have changed.

I have 6in lift with 35s inch tires so the added weight, poor aerodynamics =13-14mpg lol. I avg around 14mpg with the tune

2018 3.5 stock. I get 17 city, driving it like I stole it. In eco mode, trying to get max mpg, I get almost 22 city. Have never taken it on the highway without towing the camper so I don't know what it will get unloaded on the highway. Towing, I get 10 mpg.

How big are your rubber bands?

Ummm that’s your call man. I personally don’t know anything as far as maintenance of the vehicle. Would I tune a truck with that many miles..probably not but that’s just me.

Sorry man, but if you’re buying a vehicle like this with miles per gallon in mind then you’re severely lacking in the mind department. No insult intended but it’s a fact. Regardless of what drive train you have or buy you’ll never get good mileage.
