Listen man resellers got to greedy and that did people in 2 pairs fine ...there is No good damn reason for someone to go to the mall or outlet and by 10 pairs of the same shoe turn around and sell it to me for triple !! That is B.S . People work, have kids, dont have transportation, to get to the store to barely buy 1... so Now im stuck buying you and me a pair because you wiped out the inventory before i got there?... now you left me no choice but to buy Reps ... thats where things went left . Greed from every Angle killed the love of sneaker OG's sneaker vet here 25yrs plus

Yup, resellers ruined the market, then turn around and start pointing fingers saying other people are the problem. Trying to treat what has always been a supplemental source of income as their ONLY source of income so they don't have to work a 9-5. This dude even mentioned using bots on releases which is an even WORSE problem, yet he's supporting it. Get out of here with that shit. I'm glad general release pairs are available for retail, I couldn't care less about resellers not making their buck after they ruined the market.

This is not meant in hate or to cause conflict, but to be as honest as I can...good. I always hated the uprise in reselling. Not just because I couldn't get kicks, but because all these people were ok with kids just botting releases and backdooring just to then mark prices all the way up. That sort of stuff is illegal in many other places, but in the sneaker world it was just seen as all good. So if I want to buy a pair of shoes, I suddenly had to pay some kid who had nothing to do with the making of those shoes, who just ran some bot and fcked everyone else, and now I'm putting cash in his pocket? We were suddenly forced to reward this shady and unethical behavior. I have no problem if shoes genuinely sell out to the public, and we know their popularity and scarcity is more organic. But resellers were literally just stealing all the stock and holding it for ransom. As I said, no hate towards you, but at some point this had to die down.

Replicas got popular because resellers started flipping shit for ridiculous prices. If they weren't trying to double or triple their profits the market wouldn't have gotten as out of control as it did. I don't buy reps, but if you're getting mad at people buying reps instead of your overpriced legit pairs you should probably look inwards. Drop your prices and you'll still move product. "But it's not worth it if I'm not making $XXX" It's called a SIDE hustle for a reason. Work a legit job and move sneakers on the side. It should never have become a sole source of income unless you've got a brick and mortar location.

I think that not everyone that sells their sneakers is considered a sneaker resseller i feel like you're a man with sneakers that feels like you're gonna end up selling items in the future that you just dont need. And thats okay and shiddd i need money too so everyone should understand that cause they broke ahh need money too. 😂 the higher retail is whats killing that resale people kept taking advantage of price gouging and nike took note and also heard the fans ask to combat the resale being that its 5 or 6 times more then retail. They saw that even grs could cost because of the inflated prices from ressellers. In all honesty buying these shoes to make money off it wasnt really the point in the first place not being fake just blunt much love i dont think you're a resseller i think you are an OG that really takes notes. These new kids on the block just think they should make more then you off the shoes that YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF too entitled to even sell anything

If Nike wanted too they would just make millions of Travis’s and other super hype shoes and sell out until people realize the market is flooded. Personally I agree with you that reselling isn’t worth it but that’s just me. I try to hit when I can and I rarely pay resale. A lot of the time I’ll buy used shoes that are extremely lightly worn for 50% off.
