They look really nice, for me the craftsmanship and quality wasn't bad but not outstanding. I might be a bit picky and snob because i really like the made models. I feel you on the 999 made in the us, had some opportunities to cop them but never did, now they are gone forever😢.

i was on the fence about a pair had them in cart and wondered about sizing and general review and sure enough you got a video on them! 🤟🏻 always enjoy your content and have based sizing (with a grain of salt) on yours because i’m a 13 in nike and Asics and has always worked out. They’re a classic for sure and that bulky toebox isn’t as noticeable on-feet. Looking forward to ‘grey day’ with reintroduction of the 998 😍

i like this silhouette and i don't know why i didn't buy them about a decade ago as well but i did get the 999 concept collaboration. they are bulky too . thanks for that information cause they don't run to size i have to take insole out and use the runners lock at the top eyelid . ive seen few colorways ive wanted i need to get a pair and get them on sale too. i remember the stray rats dropped and i kept going back to the website thinking to cop. that white and green pair yes another pair i thought of copping. great pickup and review brother ✊️🙏

Excellent review, I never had a pair of 580 and I am a New Balance Fan. I trust your opinion on these. After all it was your review on the Saucony Shadow 5000’s that made me a Saucony fan. It’s true, we do have to many shoes 👟

I've become very selective because I have way more than I'll ever need 😅. Saucony is definitely an underrated brand. 5000s and 6000s are my favorites!

@@HighlyAkicktive not 100% sure what will fit. For me in NB a 10 is normally a snug fit, 10.5 is a little roomy usually, so i tend to lean to 10.5 mostly. From your vid im going 10.5 and see what happens lol thanks

Great video! Suggestion? Please wear pants that aren't elasticated when you show sneakers on feet. Maybe just regular midrise pants with no break. Starting point of styling any type of footwear, imo. Just for the videos, not suggesting you change your style of pants. I hope this helps, and you'll take it well. Peace.

Anything ACG may work, but I never had one and don't know how weatherproof they are. You can also look into Asics' GTX line, or Hoka One, both have GTX (Gore-Tex) Versions. I have an Asics GTX and it's awesome. New Balance also has a GTX version of the 2002R. If it doesn't have to be a runner Nike Duck Boot or Vans MTE

I'd go with your Nike size. Be aware that NB UK sizing is a half size down compared to the US size. US 11/UK 10.5

These are clean on feet and very comfy can wear em all day

I was really surprised how comfy the midsole is!

Are those comfy!? I usually buy soma Puma RSX, which are very comfortable,but the uppers are quite thin,so not exactly a cold weather shoes 😅 I got no experience with the New Balance... Sorry for the late response. I find them comfortable actually I was surprised that they're more comfy than I thought. The midsole is not stiff and has enough cushoning for me

Let's understand why it's a bulky shoe, it's for over-pronators in running, it's a running shoe, for bigger guys, so it's not going to be a slim shoe.

That's what I was suspecting somehow. A co-worker has found them to be ideal for him and already bought 3 pairs, bis feet are a little more beafy than mine 😊

If you have achilles tendinitis plantar fasciitis or wear orthotics in your sneakers this is the shoe you need. Don't even need to wear my orthotics with them.
