My thoughts exactly as a Pats fan. This year is basically tryouts for the new olineman and WRs, development and reps for Drake Maye, and getting another top 3-5 pick to trade back and accumulate more picks or draft a stud LT or WR, whatever position we don't address with all the cap space next year. I'd be ELATED with flashes and or a good game from Maye if he gets to play like the last 4 games, and for 1 of Polk or Baker to catch like 60-70 passes for 800+ yards. That's how far we've sunk lol but I'll start the genuine optimism next year or the year after that

You guys are not comedians. Taking this from football analysis to a bad comedy bit absolutely didn't work. The Saints for example, you could have mentioned a real reason for optimism in Kubiak replacing Carmichael at OC, which would have been useful info for football fans.
