Rear End Install on Pete's 63 Nova
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Hey guys this was a quick video today. I wanted to get the car on the ground ASAP. I had plans today that were going to take me away from work but ended up being cancelled so I just was able to get the car done quicker. Couple things to button up and she's ready to go home!

i believe i was the first to put a narrowed 9" ford diff in a chevy in 1973. it was a '65 chevy II. as for the history of the 9" ford diff, everybody started using them after that. i think the car is still in tulsa, ok where i sold it.

@@axlegrind4212 that is a bold statement. I'd love to know the history on it.

@@murillofabworks people thought i was eccentric for putting a 9" under it because it was a stock ss with a 12 bolt posi, 327 muncie 4 speed. funny cars were using the 9" at the time, so i knew they were bullet proof and i wanted 8000 rpm launches. i had the housing narrowed with summers bros axles, spool and 5.87 gears. i also put a ford top loader, 40 lb flywheel behind the 327. rick voegelin of car craft magazine built a 66 chevy II for super modified i was obsessed with. i copied his 6 point cage, sub frame connectors, and moving the leaf springs in 4". he used a dana 60 iirc.
Always building never racing what's up with that
