Any video's on Oilrig, militia or siege? Those were great maps!

Hi do you have any demos from 2000-2003 from UK players or UK nations cup clanbase matches that you could upload? Or failing that, any pub demos from them? Two players that I used to really like were KhAoS and b0b. Both were very good in the UK at the time, b0b in particular was easily up there with 4K players like Mangiacapra, but he refused to join a big team except for Team-UK in the clanbase nations cup to represent the UK. Another player who came in the UK scene I think a bit later was dark0r who had insane aim at the time, I think he played for 'omg!' and infinity-esports at one point but they later renamed to something else.

i know the players you are talking about but i dont think i have any demos from them. sadly there arent that many UK demos :( but i'll look into it.

I have some more of myth but only one 2on2 demo with realstyla. The other ones are 5on5 or 1on1 demos.

u have no idea lol....in germany the ping was better back then (fastpath) and a flatrate cost between 40-60€ @@unknownsundberg8571

am i the only one who thinks the instant movement gave the terrorists heree a huge advantage? he could immediatly start running, while the CTs had to buy stuff. imo a very unfair setting, because CTs usually are already waiting for Ts at the large door. however...he's still a good player

i wouldnt really say its unfair because both teams have the same advantage/disadvantage and this is still a CT map plus people had buyscripts back then already. aside from that im not a fan of no freezetime, even a public should have at least 3 seconds of freezetime imo.

@@AncientCS sure, many had buyscripts even @ 1.5 - but afaik way less than 50% of players. You can see in the video how often he pushed to the huge door and could wait for CTs to show up and kill them. Usually, it's the exact opposite. That was alwys the biggest flaw iimo, when it came to aztec. It was so damn extreme CT-"friendly" ...your team had to be as twice as good as CTs to match them...at least on public.

@@Blei1986 yeah, i think in this particular game there just werent that many CTs and they decided to play bridge room more because they kept getting owned at the other bomb spot.

german semi famous player i guess, and 49/2 scores on a pub is pretty good in my book.

He was very well known in the german cs scene (2001-2003). He uploaded several public demos which rocked at that time.

@@jensclarberg6419 It was popular to upload demos from public servers at that time, maybe this has changed and this isnt a big deal nowadays. But some very good demos were uploaded like the one from chucky, xero, burningdeath, drax etc. Of course there was a lot of crap uploaded but some were nice to watch. Often these were also demos from realstyla.
