I would be scared to have that in my house 😅 does it get warm? A toaster draws like 900 watts so this is a quarter the wattage of a toaster and a lot smaller. Toasters get frickin hot soooooo…. How hot is that phone/battery getting?

toasters are specifically designed to have high electrical resistance and create heat to cook food. phones like this have battery management systems and sensors to prevent overheating just like a PC or a car. That being said, 240 watts into a phone is pretty insane but I would imagine that they've tested all of this.

@@jakob8940thats how batteries work, i have a massive rc car that uses a Lipo battery, if im not carefull of how i charge it its going to get damaged overtime, same with phones. now yes phones do have some tech to combat a little bit, but not alot. its common sense.

@@D_SPAIR no, its a common mistake. It doesn't matter how fast a battery gets charged. It could be 2000W and it would be fine as long as it gets cooled properly. (In that case maybe liquid nitrogen)
