Faisal Bhai, I think I have always admired your flair for reasoning, but on this occasion I feel that both your thumbnail and criticism are misplaced. Firstly, Shahid's question was misplaced too.. You have to remember Mominji is a lawyer, trying to get justice for Gulam Haider from within the system he is in, irrespective of who is responsible for this mess. He is not a politician. He has to toe the line if he has to achieve success for his client, especially when he is from a country that India sees as an adversary. It is NOT easy. These kind of questions are better reserved for politicians/government officials, and not a lawyer who is not leaving any stone unturned to get justice for his client come what may. It is very easy to talk and judge others without reflecting on the sensitivities of this very delicate situation. This is a very sensitive time in this case and I actually admired Mominji's sharp sense of humor and wit with which he answered the question ensuring that whatever he said did not impact negativily on Gulam's case. You may have heard that "talaab mein reh kur, magarmach se dushmani nahi le sakte" So please please be very careful and sensible in your choice of questions and words and do not put him in a situation which may ultimately place hurdles in the way of justice for Gulam Haider.
