REALLY fast Russian - My education and why I teach Russian

Transcript:

Well, thank you for choosing to teach the Russian language...I'm so glad that you did, and again, you are the best teacher of Russian. Personally, I can think of no other language that I'd rather learn than the beautiful Russian language. I love and appreciate all your videos, and I believe that not only do they facilitate learning the Russian language, but they promote learning about Russia, the wonderful Russian people and help to promote good will, friendship and appreciation between people from all over the world and the great Russian nation and it's culture.

Thanks Daria for this video. I have always wanted to learn Russian but my high school did not offer it. I studied German back in the mid 1980s. I went to university to study chemistry and ended up with my PhD in chemistry. Your Russian lessons are excellent and I am actually learning the language. I can't wait to find a group to practice conversational skills where I live.

Thanks much Daria. I enjoyed you telling me about your educational background. I had started studying Russian some years ago, but I had stopped practicing because I lost contact with some of my Russian friends. Also, some decided to learn English; hence, communicating with me in Russian seemed uninteresting because they already know that language I guess. However, listening to you just now, I realized that I am becoming re-familiarized with the listening and understanding aspect (albeit, aided by your subtitles). Additionally, I have gain a renewed zeal to learn Russian thanks to you. I wish I had one of those online communities to seek out friends with similar interests to practice with. Needless to say, your videos are super helpful and it's great that more person are sharing the Russian language and culture. Keep up the great work!

hi Daria, well done, as usual. perhaps you might do videos about different professions and places. for example you could go to a bakery and describe not only the shop but also show the baker at work, and likewise for mechanics, plumbers and so on. even with a short interview to the people who works in the place.

Dear Daria, I like your approach very much and beside of being very impressed by your teaching in Russian, I’m just as much, or maybe more, impressed by the way to speak English. First let me tell your why I wanted to learn Russian. I met a Russian lady in the same apartment building as me. I live in California by the way and it has a gorgeous climate which is a big difference from my native country, the Netherlands. But the lady that I spoke about speaks poor English and I have difficulties understanding her. So I decided to learn Russian, so we can understand each other better. I have to say however that I am a very very early beginner in Russian and tried it out on another website called duolingo, but I have little doubt that you people are doing a much better job. What very very much surprised me that you never studied in England or the U.S.A., because your English is flawless. I can tell because as a Dutch native is difficult to speak English perfectly, except when you came to the U.S.A. for instance as a child. So before I heard your biography, that you must taken at least summer holidays as a visit student in England or the States (sabatical). I worked most of my life in Psychiatry and studied at the University of Amsterdam. “ So if someone is a nerd it must be me”. Lets say I,m kidding. I speak two languages and I’m familiar to a certain level with German. I learned French at school too, but you can forget it. Holland has a very long tradition of contact with Eastern Europe, by means of its merchant fleet, but they are proud that they taught Szar Peter the Great (together with the English) how to build ships. They even can show you the little cottage he lived in in the Netherlands and that he had difficulty entering it because the door was to low for his height. I’m looking foreward to take the Russian lessons and get more knowledge of Russia of which I know virtually nothing. Thanks a million. Johnny.

I am studying child psychology & social media marketing at an online university, and as a child I learned from my mother & sister how to make beadwork. I am also learning to make Native American (Chitimacha tribe) baskets from a kind of bamboo that only grows in North America, called river cane. This special kind of basketry is a very unique art, and I am one of only 6 people in the whole world who still knows how to weave these baskets. I visited St. Petersburg a VERY long time ago when I was a girl, and I love the city too! Thanks for your videos. You are a wonderful teacher :)

Why don't you start a professional course ,giving us certificate in learning. Its mutually better for us. We get certificate and you can expand your channel.. If you have any such certification ,please let me know. Thanks
