his character hasnt changed much, mostly just the plot surrounding him in the earlier seasons, he was always the spider at the centre of every web, but now he's mostly just the 'guy who could stop every villain before they even become a threat but doesn't because I dont know why' and lets them all in on the condition that they 'not hurt belle' which none of them ever end up following

Started watching OUAT again after quite a few years, had to think of this video 😄 & happy to have found it again!

Gods, all that leather... yum I love Rumple, I love him as The Dark One and as Mr. Gold. I even love him as the simple Spinner he once was.

Perfect song choice! It fits his personality completely. He has quickly become my favorite character on the show. He's just so dynamic.

sd gurl He’s got that presence and a sort of magnetism. He absolutely steals the show and I can’t take my eyes off him in any scene he’s in. That’s what I thought of when you say attractive. He was my favorite part of the show since the very first “Snow White and Prince CHARMING!” (Pure mocking)

Amazing how you've captured his "moves" as both Rumpel and mr. Gold - I never thought them alike before, but here you clearly see the similarities - and thereby also how what differs them the most is not actually the strange gestures or laughing - it's just that Gold is a more dignified version.

Apparently I posted a comment on this video 7 years ago. Wow. Watching it again makes me miss the show, and Rumple, too. Unfortunately I thought his character started to get a bit stale after season 3. Season 1 Rumple was the best imo, when he still had so much mystery surrounding him and you weren't quite sure of his angle.

Completely agree. The writer’s started to loose creativity with the new villains so they always had to recycle him and ruin any of him progress when it came to him changing. Got really tiring after season 4 and the whole dagger business.

Ihave also been waiting for appearances by snow queen, frog prince, tom thumb&thumbelina, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, the invisible man, captain nemo, other arthurian characters(they mentioned Camelot, Merlin, and excalibur+we met Lancelot), van helsing, and frankly the list goes on, much like my imagination.

Nemo, hellz yeah. Give the Nurtalus the ablitity to cross realms. Since we are going to OZ, I have mused with the idea of the Gnome King and Jareth the Goblin King from The Labrynth being the same person. Some how Jareth and Rumple have some bad history and as a inside joke have Jareth call Rumple "Hoggle"

Wow so much humor that Robert Carlyle brings to Rumplesiltskin to make him so much more epic and fun to watch... and it was ALL captured brilliantly in this one fanvid. You're really talented and this was just so impressive. Keep up the brilliant work! ;)
