So encouraging to see healthy fish in the Poudre so soon after the fires. Well done!

Agreed. Didn't know what to expect since I hadn't fished it much since.
Beautiful bows. I really loved fishing Clear Creek couple years ago, I need try this River next time I'm out that way.

Definitely do it. It's a great time.
Solid fishing @ 500cfs! But its now heading to 1650+cfs so it'll be awhile before I'd head up there again 🙁

Right. Going into lake season or taikwaters
I use to fish the Poudre during my time at CSU. I miss that river

I get that. It's an awesome area with lots of public access and a lot of different water. The upper areas are so much different than the lower.
Great videos, dude! What size Winston rod are you sporting?

It's a 9' 5wt. Just picked it up last year. Been really enjoying it.
Hey man, I’m from the UK and will be heading over near rustic in a week or so and plan to take my rod, as I’m staying right on the river. Any tips?

Flows are dropping every day and water clarity should be decent now I would think. Salmon flies sometimes come off in the canyon but they might be done. I'd probably start hopper dropper with a pats or guides choice hares ear and then switch to a nymph rig if needed to get deeper. There was a mudslide after the fire. Upstream of that has been good. I haven't fished much below it since the fire
