But now these videos on KZread are mentioning about a NMC - Nov 2023 gazette that says that a Georgian Mbbs degree for students taking admission from 2023-24 batch onwards will only be valid after licence to practice in Georgia is given. Which can be only given after an additional 2 years of Residency/PG is done from Georgia which is in their local language. So now is this present 6 year Mbbs degree valid from this academic year onward to be able to apply for Indian Licence...

no its not true , georgia is giving license if student is able to pass the exam after mbbs.

you do not have to practise ion abroad, just have to get the license to practise and its upto you weather you wish to practise there or come back to India.

yes you have to pass the license exam which is in Georgian language. but you will be registered as a junior doctor after completing 6 years of mbbs and will get the registration as well, on that basis you can write NEXT exam.

its a good university, but we recommend you to join ilia state university , because of better education, better faculties and better medical infrastructure.

If we are doing usmle after doing mbbs in Georgia do we still have to clear the Georgian language exam to get the license
