Sir my height is 164 which is 1cm less from the required height and i heartly want to put IPS as my first preference (also I belonged to general category) will they select me considering my height ? If not then I'll give prefence to IDES.

They will check all the criteria during medical examination. If you think you have a border case, then you may put IPS at the top & leave it upto the medical board to determine your eligibility.
