The security guards were at the back side of the residence of Indira Gandhi. Someone actually put them at Front gate ... Back side had a door which was closed all the time... Front side was always open for guests where Indira Gandhi used to sit and meet people ..Some put those security guards from Back to front Doors...

Trust aur bewakoofi mai thoda farak hota hai. A state head should not b emotional..His/her life is way more valuable for the country than the emotions. An ideal state head should look for the long term interests of the country. Had Indira Gandhi listened to intelligence and avoided her assasination there would not be any Sikh riots and no more decade long terrorism in Punjab. One foolish action cost lives of many.
