I love these rebuild videos and would love it if you did one with IFK Göteborg. A massive club during the 80's winning (what now is) the Europa League two times and had a massive season in the Champions League in 1994 topping a group with Barcelona, Man U and Galatasaray. But for the last few years the club has struggled. They haven't qualified for any European competition since 1997/98. Today they sit 14 in the Allsvenskan with 7 points in 12 games and are now at the threat of relegation.

Genuinely think Soton are the best prepared to come back IRL. Young players, lower salaries than Leicester/Leeds & already have a new manager in place.

@@paulcoolidge1894 yeah, we said the same about Burnley. You and a lot of people are underestimating their new manager. I know we don’t know much but we’ve seen how Pep’s students turn out when they go into management, and this is another one of them. If he can sign a lot of players who fit the clubs identity, I think they’ve got a big chance at going up. Even if they lose a lot of players, if they sign the right ones, I see Leicester doing very well. I agree with you on the Southampton front, I think they’re gonna do very well, Russell Martin showed at MK & Swansea his sides play nice, attacking football, and I think with the players Southampton have, that’s a recipe for success. I agree with you on Leeds as well, I think they’re gonna do absolutely horribly. I see Sinisterra, Rodrigo, Koch, Meslier, Aaronson, Gnonto, Summerville, Adams and Struijk all leaving, and while yes, a lot of players are gonna leave Leicester, I’ve given my reasons why I think they’ll do well. Think their recruitment this summer will be very good

Couple of things from this, 1: I whole heartedly agree with what you’re saying about if you’re not from an area that has a premier league club then yeah you will support a team in the premier league, but also support a local team, like my local team is Northampton town, I’ll keep an eye out for them, 2: your season 2 carabao cup semi final reminds me of the 2012/13 league cup semi final where it was like Chelsea, villa i think, Swansea and Bradford city

Yo You have to do one with Groningen in the dutch 2nd div After a shocking season they came last and are now relegated

After a 12 hour shift, coming home to watch these rebuilds as I stuff my face are what Mondays are about, end the day right 👌🏼😂

This was a great series with the updated database and a again a fantastic rebuild. Finishing the series off with a ucl final and a FA cup win, amazing 😁👍 lets get back to some more OmegaDad club history lessons with other teams 😊 thats one of my favourite parts in the rebuilds.

Great video! Definitely some insane luck there haha. What happened to Mara and Alcarez in the save? I dont think they were mentioned, but they wouldve been perfect for AF and SS roles, i think like Sulemana theyre -8s so their potential usefulness is annoyingly between championship and good premiership level. Also a bit cheeky keeping Lavia 😉 hes linked constantly to the big teams

As a saints fan listening to you talk about our form on 12:00 mins is literally what every saints fan has been saying all season at st Mary’s. We couldn’t handle the pressure of playing the likes of Leeds, Bournemouth etc but could go to old Trafford, emigrates, Stamford bridge and pick up points. So frustrating

@@OmegaLukeGaming tbf he was nerfed quite a bit, but can still easily become an elite striker you can sell for €100M and that bangs 40-50 goals. Sadly it does not seem that he had a productive loan spell at Ajax and would most likely be nerfed even further.

Can you maybe do FC Groningen? They just got relegated but have some good talents

Luke, what kind of leagues do you load when you do these rebuilds? Only the premier league and championship? Or do you load a large amount of leagues?

Your support for United and Plymouth is very similar to my support for Liverpool and Tranmere. I grew up watching Liverpool in the late 70's and only watched them on telly but my Dad used to take me to Rovers matches as it's our home town team. And I'd want Tranmere to beat Liverpool if we ever faced them in a competition. 🤣

As a Cornish lad i understand what you mean, my Dad and Brother support Liverpool and Man Utd were the team beating everyone at the time so i picked them to annoy my Brother and Dad haha but Plymouth is my team, was a season ticket holder and would always support them against Man Utd, people from Cities have never understood what its like to only be able to watch teams that you can never actually go and see play, love this channel and the banter between you guys, COYG

How do you think you would do on a Middlesbrough rebuild with them losing in the playoffs last year?

Man try a save with Hamburg. Its really hard. Im trying but i think its impossible to reach te 1st division 😂

Can you do the same with Levante? We lost the final of the play off with a penalty at 122. And now we are on a huge debt and bad finantial situation. Almost 70-80M debt, forced to sell our best players. Nice video!

Saints fan here, big players will leave which is understandable but the worry is even back up/fringe players are set to leave. We really will be relying on youth and new signings… and we have less than 6 weeks to sort it out. Promoted teams can’t start the season slowly and I think we will. Play offs at best.

Pretty sure he goes on holiday and selects "use current match tactics" and 'use current team selection " or whatever those options are called. There are skins where you can simulate the match with one click rather than having to watch the match too but that would still take a long time to complete a season

The issue Saints will have is keeping their players. The young players were the best performers this year and the older more experienced players like JWP, Adams, Stu and Adam Armstrong etc were the reason they went down as they all have been awful for 18 months There will be a big clear out as always with relegation but they should be looking at over £100m pretty comfortably for the players leaving, just have to see how they invest it
