I love how “real” your collection is. When I first started watching YT I went a little crazy and bought way (WAY) too much makeup and skincare. Now, I’ve really pared down what I own. I’m not a creator and I don’t have any need to have so much. I still think I have too much, but I’m trying to use up a lot of what I own. I’ve made a lot of progress over the last 2 years. Watching YTrs like you have really motivated me to pan and use up what I own.

ugh, bless you. i'm in a small space right now and trying to find organization videos, and every video i see dedicated to storage is from creators with huge makeup collections. no one actually has that much makeup so this video is much appreciated 🙂

I love those sponge holders that look like egg cups but alas, my cats always steal my makeup sponges so I have to keep them sealed away.

to be honest I haven't really been using reusable makeup cloths as much since switching over to a cleansing balm!!

My vanity have the same size. Love your curated collection. I'vd curated my collection too, from over 50 pallets to 8, from over 20 bronzers to 8... i'vd kept only what i REALLY love and i want use daily. I'm very happy with my curated collection now and if i want a new one, an old one has to go. I do'nt want to have such a big collection again, it was too overwhelming for me. I love this so much! I've been saying for ages that I need to clean out my bathroom and organize my collection (no exaggeration, it's a hot mess, and I don't even know how much I have anymore), and this is so inspiring! For future, I'd love to have a similar set up with vanity and natural light, maybe in my next place.

This is a great collection! Usually the ones on here are ridiculous, but in my eyes, everything that's not eyeshadows (singles or palettes) should be like around 12ish or less for the year, especially if someone is trying new products or wearing makeup for most of the week. When I was working all the time, I could use up a foundation in a month or so. Same with powder. A Fit Me blush one time lasted around 6 months. MAC eyeshadows lasted a year. I really miss wearing makeup all the time!!!

I feel similarly! I like having a variety in some categories (like eyeshadow and lips) but others I only need a few products to be satisfied :)

I loved the new organization system !! I always thought the eye drawer had lots of space empty before and now looks a lot more inspiring and spacious !😊✨ love it !!! Very excited for the project pan update !!!

I recently bought a rotating holder (like yours, but it’s metal) from Ross. It’s intended for office supplies but it’s amazing for storing my brushes! Best thing I’ve purchased for $6 😊

Our makeup organization looks exactly the same! I have a vanity with a similar organizer on the side (that I don’t like very much) only difference is I keep my palettes in a basic on top of the organizer but that probably wouldn’t be best for your kitties!!

I've found that the best cloths for substituting for paper towels are some hemmed flannel cloths. If you use cotton flannel, they will get softer and more absorbent when you wash them.

I had that exact vanity when I was 15 years old (so like in 1991) and I do agree about that drawers set, too. We bought my daughter ones just like it, but the rainbow colored ones and she uses it to store her art supplies and it is okay, but she fights it often, and it doesn't seem the most sturdy. I'd like to get her an Alex nine drawer, but our nearest Ikea is in Texas, so it's going to wait until I go to get the pieces for my desk from Texas.

Ooh!! I think those drawers are probably best for storing really lightweight stuff like paper or craft supplies, but they really don't hold up well with anything heavier :(

This is great I am a really small makeup channel and I feel like I have had the hardest time to find realistic makeup collections on here and also feel kind of pressured to "keep up" with the rest and have fallen into the I need to grow my collection for my channel type of thinking which isnt good as I buy my makeup myself and most cases I have to save up or get it as a gift from family ... Sorry for rambling I am just happy to see a video like this

ahh i totally feel you!! there is a lot of pressure to collect a lot of makeup on youtube but you can absolutely do youtube without having a large collection :)

The Flower Blush Bombs have an official shelf life of 6 months, so it might be past its prime

Ooh! I think a classic, blue-based red can be flattering on most people, so that may be your best bet. Warmer reds can be pretty too though! It can definitely be a bit trial and error to find the perfect shade so I'd recommend starting with a few cheaper ones (elf has some nice options) and going from there!

I adore the pearls and the simplicity of the vanity although, yeah, upgrade them shelves Lol.

I own the same plastic drawers but I bought it for my school supplies and not for makeup. I love glass vanities but ugh so heavy! Instead I just got something from ikea like most people.

How funny we have the same vanity! Only mine is gold. And I got it second hand too haha. And I have the a similar drawer organizer for my makeup. I got mine from joanns though. I don't have an issue with it sagging though. Maybe I don't have enough makeup 🤣

Thanks for the suggestion!! Unfortunately the mattes are already a bit skippy on their own so a tacky base doesn't quite do the trick. I did just buy a the NYX jumbo pencil in milk which I think should help!

I tossed my elf lash it loud. Found it really transfered. Definitely not for lower lashes! Would love a makeup brushes tour. You've got a lot - do you really use them all? Is there really a difference between less and more expensive brushes? I'm not an expert in makeup at all, should I invest or don't bother? I've got brushes I have no idea what to do with. Edit: you'll probably like the brush on the elf lash it loud - I did too (narrow and flexible, rubber brustled) although seemed a little to spiky.

With that flower beauty liquid blush, I think maybe your tastes have changed.. even Jessica Braun has changed her mind on that blush.. you wear blush differently than you used to so it makes sense

I know this question isnt ment for me but personally I find if I paid for a product I like to try to use it up even if I am not a big fan of it but some products I try not to hold onto especially of its a cream product
