Hi Manan! There's multiple schulich pages on instagram. Some of them might reply to your messages. Definitely check them out. I do not know much about the engineering program, aside from them having the best buildings in the campus lol I hope you find answers to your questions. Hope this helps. Keep safe!

I do not really know anyone in that program so I can't tell but I've taken a couple classes that are under that program, and I can say that they have such fine professors!

Hi . are you an international student from the Phils or did you did your pre-uni in Canada ?

Is this university good for visual arts? Such as drawing anatomy, composition, filmmaking, etc?

I am studying electrical engineering. Can I join this university after my diploma for my graduate course.? Is this electrical engineering course honours degree?

You should check U of C's programs out for more information, but if you have the requirements you'll be fine. There are honors programs too at U of C in various subjects.

It’s an arts faculty but there’s science and arts stream. Both are in arts faculty though.

Hey, I have no idea about the Computer Sciences program and I barely know anyone that's taking the said program. However, I'm pretty sure you can find some comp sci students in instagram. There's a number of ucalgary affiliated instagram pages/account such as @ucwearescience where they post profiles of students that take various programs. I can almost guarantee you that one of these days, they will be posting a comp sci student if they haven't yet. Then you can chat with them and ask them about the program. Almost everyone is pretty friendly and approachable so you should be fine. In terms if opportunities in Calgary, I'd say it'll be 8/10 for the reason that when you're applying for jobs, almost every employer asks for a reference that they'd like to call and ask about you as a person such as if you're trustworthy and the likes. I'm pretty sure almost all employers ask for a reference now though so that shouldn't be a big deal. If it's going to be your first time to be in Calgary and if you don't know anyone from the city yet, it might be a little challenging for you but hey, don't let it stop you from getting what you want. Yes, she’s my professor’s daughter. I was also amazed when I first saw her in class last summer but no one‘s gonna be able to babysit her so he brought her with him in class. It was also great because she actually shared to the class some very insightful ideas. :)

Awee thank you so much!! yeah, I always called in a different name lmao 😆 I’m not sure what you’re asking exactly but I learned from a mentor before that there’s no such thing as an “official” pre-med program bc any 4yr degree program can be used to proceed to med school. Although, if you have a physics/bio/chem/psyc/soci background, it can help you with the MCAT A LOT and yes, I think transfering to Canada is a good decision!! hihi
