If it is this hard to detect a fake, then I think the fake is good enough for me.

I go to Thailand I bought polo shirt most brands look fine to me No shrink, no fade colour use so many years I still have it 5$ per shirt

What irritates me the most are the people who think U.S. Polo and Ralph Lauren are the same thing.

I wear lands end but prefer Polo. Imo they last longer. I like lands but for me Polo stuff almost feel fitted or tailored where lands is almost on the relaxed side of things.

Back in 1960s, Woolworths shirts came out better in tests than pricier name brands and more expensive multiple stores. Only point of inferiority was length of gusset so they rode up out of trousers unless you added a strip of cotton (that's what mums are for!)

Lands end is okay but not as good in quality as a bona fide RL Polo shirt.

You get what you pay for. Real Ralph Lauren shirts go on sale. Buy them on sale

That is a good point. Get lucky and no-name product fits you; unlucky and you may have to spend more. There was a time, 15 to 20 years ago, when M&S changed its cut so everyone I knew had to go elsewhere for menswear.

If i buy a fake Polo Ralph Lauren unknowingly, then its not a problem. Because according you myself i have bought original. And i have paid the price of original.

No big deal if the logo is a bit different?? But we know sure that there is a far apart difference in price tag !

That is why I shop at the Store and not online.

@@goobi7071 I paid $33.99 for it. If you paid something like I did, I can guarantee it's a fake. I'm a 2XL and this shirt couldn't have been a medium, if that. I finally bought one through a reputable store and it fits nice. Plus, it was more than double the price I paid through eBay. Like I said, I tried to contact the seller and he shut his account down. If yours is a fake, which it probably is, just dispute the charge with your credit card company. My bank reimbursed me the charge. Let me know when or if you get the shirt and what you think.

Check the numbered elements in the video. If they comply, it's original. The manufacture place does not tell us much as RL has manufactured its original garments in several countries

Fabric has different levels of quality. I don't think that we can refer to fabric term as original or fake. We can use low quality, medium quality, high quality or premium quality instead.
