Great video. The pair I just bought matches exactly with your authentic pair. Got it from a reputable source with recerpt, but still had to double check myself. Paid $300 which isn't TOO bad considering what they retail for and how long it's been. I now have the Spacejams, Laser 4's. BRed 4's, 2016 White Cement 4's, True Blue 3's, Chinese New Year 12's, Cherry 11 lows, Navy\Gum 11 lows, and the grey tricolor NMD primeknit. Just started collecting after I got the Spacejam release, meaning I paid for most my collection =(. From now on it's retail or bust, unless it's some super heat I just MUST have.

No they're not. Those would be called unauthorized if they came from the same factory. The vast majority of the fakes out are straight up replicas which use some of the same material and build process but some different. The most expensive fakes you can buy are called "Authentic Replicas" which some claim are unauthorized shoes. Why they're even called authentic at all is because they use 100% of the same materials and supposedly build process. They lack the quality control though which results in minor differences that can be found by experts. These authentic replicas cost $150 or more while the cheaper replicas cost between $50-$120 depending on the tier of replica and shoe.

Me being the super picky person I am was able to tell the difference between the two. The blues are very similar but the authentic pair has a very subtle hint of black in them, the laces holes are a bit smaller, and of course the tongue being smaller. This was super informative. People like me super appreciates this. Make more 👍🏾

There are differences...but the bottom line is, if your going to pay $300 for a real vs. fake...why not go with the real even in your eyes, there isn't any differences?

I recently ended up buying two pairs of Jordan 12 Game Royals on release day (one by accident) from one of the authorized outlets. When I opened both boxes and compared them.....there were minor variances between the two. Stitching was off here or there, sloppy glue in some spots. If I looked hard enough I could find more differences. Some real, some imagined:) I mean, really, these sneakers aren't fine crafted Italian shoes that last a lifetime. They really are just sneakers. The quality control and materials isn't really as high as a fine crafted shoe. I say that because people are scrutinizing these sneakers like they ARE fine crafted shoes. They aren't! They are mass produced in China like a lot of other sneakers.

When you put real vs fake next to each other they look very much alike, there are some fakes that are excellent quality and very comfortable that you can get for about 60. Why pay 300? Both real and fakes are made in China. Your paying the extra money to support the NBA and pay millions to basketball players.. As far as. lasting longer not sure but even if they did most people buy them for kids that grow out of them in 2 to 3 months . John Valis I have encountered many fakes in my time. I know and see the craftsmanship of them and stitching. They will not hold up. At the end of the day, the video was not intended to say "don't buy fakes" because everyone is entitled to do as they please. However, the video was made for those that want to purchase an authentic pair and not get scammed. No matter the price someone pays, if they are intending to buy something that is real or the seller is claiming they are real, then the buyer should get an authentic product. This video helps with that.

I caught something, too. Alright, go to 6:16 and look at the bottom stitching. On the fake pair, the one on the right, it seems as if that one has the stitching placed higher than the other one. Also, look at how the stitching ends when it hits the blue part of the shoe with the Red 23. The fake ones, the one on the right, slant downwards and have a little bit of the stitching shown. While on the real pair, there's no stitching shown, and also the stitching is pointed horizontally instead of pointed downwards. So for your myth busting boys and girls at school this year, check the back of their shoe. If the stitching is showing and is slanting downwards on the back, boom, there's some Fake Air Jordan 12s for ya'.

I have 2 retail pairs and one UA. I'm going to wear and beat the UA up and keep the authentic in the box. PS - the height on the plastic tabs is not a difference, as I got a 10.5 authentic from champs and plastic tabs on the two shoes is a different length. So quality control issue.

Could be a few reasons: 1. Manufacturing error by Nike/Jordan Brand 2. GS/Kids Model? 3. What you probably don't want to hear, they could be fake.

Lol spotted the fakes right away.... Really helps having them in hand. It's even helped me spot fake flu games lol.

Replicas are way better you save like $200 for the same shoe basically it's just not by "Nike" i would save hundreds for shoes any day it's just something that protects your foot

My grandparents have these Air Jordan 12 they bought like in the 1990's and the color is red/white/varsity red and its mostly white and the sole is red and then they are passing it on to me, I'm size 9.5/10 and the size of the air jordans they are passing on to me are like size 11

well good review man i already knew the left was fake because the tone color of blue was darker on the left and the stiching too but overall you did a good hob i give you props man

That's false. There are so many levels to it. All in all, this video is for people that want to buy the authentic sneakers but don't want to receive fakes. It's to help.

At the beginning of the video at 1:10 sec the left is the "authentic" at 2:53 the same left became the "fufu"? At 4:09 he said fake pair and then said it's the real pair? You said we have to pay CLOSE attention.

Where you cop that fake pair

I can assume that the fakes don't have the full zoom air pocket in them ?

I've never seen good fakes where I'm from only City want Kama I'm glad they aren't that good because it would be hard to tell the difference. Are you buying them from a website? any certain websites I should stay away from?

I guess you have to build an online presence. They are always watching so once you hit a certain mark, they reach out

as far as the stitching goes you could find these kind of tiny differences even with 2 pairs of real... the only difference I really noticed was the way the white foam would match with the ribbon on the back but for real... its just crazy how they are exactly similar one to the other

Yes your right. There are imperfections even across two real pairs. It is crazy how good they are getting. No doubt about that

Stitching looks better on the UA imo... I own some UA bred 11s. Worn the hell out of them for 3 years now and they still gucci

Luis Guerra I have seen authentic Flu Game dates differ slightly. Not sure about the French Blue.

I bought a pair of fake Jay's before and the grip goes easily and the paint falls off quick. If some workers went thru all the trouble to make a fake jordan shoe that still stays intact as if a real jordan shoe.... then it's good by me
