some of the examples you used to spot a fake weren't accurate. the stitching height on the side panels and the 3m strip position vary on both on retail and reps, so unfortunately those are not good indicators. Generally the rear V is the best way, but even that isn't 100% now a days

I got a pair of 700v2 static from stock X, but left side and right side are too diffenret from each other, it looks like they were produced on different factory, or from a different batch. Both have different stitching, different size of the rear V. The label inside the shoe has a QR, I scanned it and sends to the main page of adidas, it says made in india. I'm pretty sure they are fake

I just bought some 700 v2s from depop for 180 and took the gamble and had no idea if they were real or not. This video definitely eased my anxiety and they passed everything! It just has some lil factory defects from what I can see which was worrying me (like those lil plastic bumps that you can see on the midsole idk how to explain it).

Those little bumps usually help verify authenticity cause they’re hard to replicate. At least I heard that somewhere. Haha

actually the 3M material on the fake pair is much lighter and the pattern underneath is not as significant as retail one

My pair is coming in from goat but you can never be too comfortable. Man that’s scary how real replicas are.
