Kill, Krush, n Destroy was awesome with its monsters troops. Also the tech bunkers with mechs were great fun!

I think one criminally underrated RTS is Impossible Creatures. Its extremely unique and pretty fun. You get to make your own units and play with them which i don't think any other RTS has done since.

Earth 2160 has modular units builder. You can choose the engine, armor type and guns as you open them on the progression tree

I’m not interested in these types of games but the thumbnail looked really cool.

I agree, the thumbnail looks great - it reminded me of a comic book artist by the name of Das Pastoras. If you are unfamilliar with his work, I strongly suggest you check it out.

Unicorn Overlord sales has raised my hope for more Ogre Battle inspired rts too~

From Glory To Goo - The retro look keeps things slow tempo so decisions can ramp up I'd imagine which would then be a good choice to present the action with. Does need a decent factory sandbox behind the first line of defence however to really grind that goo into gunk! Industrial Annihilation - Has the right pedigree for this genre and adding factory-automation to full industrial planet robot wars seems like a great leap forwards.

all looks amazing, but I am particularly interested in from glory to goo. This tiny pixel art tingles my jingles as a pixel artist.

Quick note on Dying Breed - the devs have shown there will be both a GDI-esq and a separate Brotherhood of Nod-esq faction. Just most of the teaser footage has mainly focused on the GDI-esq faction with some of the Nod-esq structures appearing a few times. At the same time, the Worms/Zombies *might* be more than just an AI swarm and could be a third faction (though that's a big maybe)

It wasn't a Creeper World game exactly, but IXE looks like a continuation of the Particle Fleet game they did.

What about Red Chaos - The Strict Order, where is it ?

Barkhan is treading a bit TOO close to Dune 2 I think. Desert Planet - check Sandworms - check Ornithopters - check Trikes - check ...and I think I even saw a sonic tank. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a remake of Dune 2 but these guys should probably try not to get sued?

Godsworn that game is hard, I died 3 times on the campaign on the 3rd stage. My mind was clouded with all the knowledge I was taking in, I was there and got killed, on Normal mode.

I advise you to pay attention to another strategic game, the Cutting Edge "Передний Край".

Kane lives in death! I'm glad RTS are making come back, and glad people still making even mods for older titles. If you're disapointed with lack of Yuri campaign in RA2 Yuri's Revenge, well... Mental Omega is here waiting for more commanders, generals or proselytes!

I am so tired of the generic 3 faction split into "balanced, few but powerful units and the swarm" we can see in e.g. Sanctuary Shattered Sun.

Godsworn's been out for like 2 days, no one is playing it, game flopped hard and I am pretty sure most of these will follow the same root

Of course EA not doing anything anymore, they don't have creative people in it anymore, bunch of copy paster

All these RTS are only for PC, what a shame. Give me a something for a console. And stop already with that cartoon design, why are most of the RTS made in such way? Give us something like Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. The RTS with serious, real-life graphics. In my opinion, The Tempest Rising is looking best among all of these games.

Lol, these games look inferior versions of Warcraft, Starcraft (most of them), Command and Conquer and Stronghold (with dinossaurs, what is pretty ridiculous). A decent 90's RTS timeless game scores 10x0 on these recently launched ones.
