♥ Frequently Asked Questions ♥
Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason.

Helen, when I was your age, I read a lot of self-help books. I was still living at home, feeling trapped because I couldn’t get a real job after school and living with an abusive mother. Life is about surviving and remember to enjoy life. Life is good.

Saying no is hard, but it’s also telling people that you have a vision and have set boundaries for your business and your team. The challenge is how do you convey that in a respectful manner, but also demonstrating that you are confident in the direction you are going . It also tell clients and customers not to cross those boundaries and being unrealistic about their requests, which can turn into unsolicited advice.

Even if it may just be an ordinary week for you, your planning is so calming and aesthetically pleasing as always! In my opinion, I prefer watching the weekly Hobonichi Cousin planning videos, so please upload more of these! ❤

haven't even finished watching the video yet but i'm proud of you for setting boundaries! there's nothing bratty about it, and it's healthy. saying "i'm sorry but that request would take too much of my time" is a good thing - are you being paid for this time with the money the customer has spent? or would this be "unpaid" work? don't feel guilty for prioritizing yourself sometimes!

Glad you mentioned taking care of yourself. That is such a great message! Love you running sticker and that you love running. I find walking works best for me, but that would be a fun sticker for power walking. Your plan with me videos are motivational, love how you can plan by the hour. I am finding that hourly schedules, daily lists, and time-blocking might not work for me. Some other methods I have seen on KZread , for example, on Living Like Leila channel she did a video called a week of pomodoros, PetuniaRose has a video called building a routine am and pm tasks, where around 7 minutes into the video she talks about am and pm tasks and theme days, JashiiCorrin has a self-care bingo video. I have seen people use a weekly list with different categories of tasks. Maybe some people are just not planners and only need a monthly calendar. Marie Poulin has a video called Notion for journaling and tracking where she mentions having a win the week or win the day task. I am trying to find a productivity method or planner that will work for me.

OM GOSH... brilliant.. I never noticed you moved the page over when you do sunday's to keep your wrist on the page. This is a brilliant trick!! I use my cell phone or another notebook under my hand for the bottom of the pages.. never thought about the side! Going to have to try that out.

Love the real time plan with me videos! These and the journaling vlogs are my favorite. I'm glad you're trying to get more sleep too because when you said you wake up at 5:45 am and go to sleep past 1 am regularly, I got worried for you! Glad you're emphasizing working on yourself. Hope you're doing well! Enjoy your week and see ya next time!

Saying “No” is your right, assertive way to define boundaries. This is part of your own personal growth. Pat yourself on the back for this 😊

No one would ever think setting personal boundaries and saying no is bratty when it’s you Helen. I was so excited to hear that you know you need to do this and put yourself and your well-being first for once. SO HAPPY !! The spread is so cute 👏🏻👏🏻. I still don’t know how you function on such little sleep and no full days off to just chill or do all the things you love. As always, thanks for sharing x

So happy to hear this was an easier week for you! Saying no is not easy, but is so so necessary for one's health. I am often astonished at how many requests for products appear in the posts. It must feel a bit overwhelming.
